I watched the entire game (Bucks at Cavs), and Cavs came out flat - down 11-0 to start the game. The Cavs got back into it and took total control with 29-0 run! Is that the longest in NBA history? Anyone here have that?

Didn't the Mavs come 1 point short of the record in demolishing the Nets just a week ago? They racked up a 34-0 run or something and came real close to the record.

34-0 mavs run against the nets? woooahhh...

why does stern think its gonna take 10 yrs to get women into the nba...when clearly the nets played like little girls to not score a point when the mavs went 34-0

... wow, wtf is wrong with you?

If a team ever started a game off 40-0, I imagine I would know that... it's such a ridiculous statistic that it would have been mentioned at least once in the hundreds, or thousands, of games I have watched.

and when did I EVER come off as a Laker hater? Jesus.. you trying to beat out PB as the worst troll on the forum? I feel like someone hacked your account...

Its true. Im not sure of the exact number but its in that area. Maybe 35-0 and it ended 40 something to 4 in the first. It was in like 87 or 88. I wanna say then because I think Kenny smith was playing and the Kings had on the sky blue uniforms. Lakers fast break was just laughable that game in the clips ive seen of it. I doubt anyone outside LA or Sacramento saw it live. They never showed the Kings on TV back then.

I really don't believe that.. link to the PbP?It was actually 40-4 at the end of the first quarter. Sacramento did not have any field goals, only 4 points from the line. I remember watching the game.

btw in 1999 the lakers held the clippers to 19 points in the first half..i think that's a team record for lowest points allowed in a half

What was the final score of that Lakers vs Kings game?
128-92 lakers..

128-92 lakers..

so kings scored 29 pts per quarter after the first? Strong defense back then.

They basically emptied their entire bench. And they still led by 36 at the end :lol

After the game Lebron said that he's been on 75-0 runs before so it's nothing new to him.

Yeah, that's probably right. I was at the game at the Forum but it was a long time ago, I just posted from memory......It was one of the strangest things I ever saw, I didn't know if I should root for a first quarter shutout or feel sorry for them.
If my memory serves me correct the Kings were sill Kansas City and had Reggie Theus. I never thought i'd forget that game but I've witnessed a lot of amazing basketball since then.
