I will say that he's the best at what he does, which is 'hip Pop'.

He was never really a 'hip HOP' producer to begin with. His best tracks have always been on the club/pop side by a long shot.

I know alot of heads don't like his style, but I gotta give props where props is due. He changed ushered in a new sound for good or for bad and did a great job at it, adapting to new eras and styles.

As a hip hop producer I think he's on the top 30 or so.
But as an r&b/club/pop producer he's top 3 without a doubt... if not no.1 whether you hate him or love him, he changed the musical landscape.

Yeah I agree that HHNF was much nicer, I don't think this album was that shitty though. Till The Casket Drops is more of a mature album anyways, songs like Freedom, Life Change, etc but what can you do. I wish they made songs like they did on Lord Willin' though...Virginia is my shit

depends what you mean by producer, if you mean someone who takes other peoples original ides and layers them onto a generic beat to create decent sounding pop music thats ok in a club but really lifeless/flat and shallow for other listening purposses id say yeah hes very good at that. i have liked several of his tracks(but non of it without a certain degree of guilt- im not 15), he basically made justin timberlake.
