I go what ?? we have snow on the ground , then I thought wow - what a racist comment , and as soon as that rung in my waking up brain - I heard the announcer quickly change the subject.

This is by no means a "Chinese" thing - Asians of mixed ancestry, be it black, white, latin - whatever have struggled in many countries. I remember reading a story of Hines Ward visiting South Korea and the large numbers of mixed-Koreans coming out of the woodwork to support "one of their own".

It's sad that it's that way, but in South Korea at least, I believe things are improving.
