I've seen listings of anywhere from 6'6" to 6'9", and he looks different every time I see him. I can't get a read off of still pictures or moving footage and he's got a big upper body but really skinny legs and huge, puffy looking feet.
Also, Shane Battier. Seen listings from 6'7" to 6'10". Can't tell.

Everywhere I see, McGrady is listed as 6'8". Not sure though...

Dude... you're never gonna get any closure from any hunt for an NBA player's height.

Yup. Lots of the listings are just plain wrong. They exaggerate the size (both height and weight) on a lot of players, too. Not only that, but we don't know if he is being measured in shoes or bare-foot. I've heard people call him 6'7 and 6'10. I've always known him as 6'8. It's not like it really matters tho...

Yea, but he came out of high school so he probably grew for like an inch or 2 after that...

Yea, but he came out of high school so he probably grew for like an inch or 2 after that... Maybe, I never grew after 16 or so. Of course plenty of other people grew 9 inches between 18-20. I don't really see why people are so caught up on height anyway. I mean I can look at a player and tell if he's tall enough to play his position in the NBA, I don't need a measurement to the nearest millimeter.

Yea, i am 20 now and i didn't grow after 16-17 either, but i am fine with my height ( 6 feet ). And i guess people just want to find out the players heights out of curiosity...

People should try to get around NBA players more....see them up close. I think they would be surprised at how tall (or short) these players really are.
hes definitely taller or as tall as david lee.

I have seen Chris Paul on Hollywood Blvd. He was shorter than me, i would say about 5'10 or 5'11.

I've seen AI at the mall, I saw his body guard before i knew it was him, he was x3 the size of AI. AI is a legitimate 5'10, he's nowhere close to 6 feet.

And people will still make a thread on here saying he is 6'1-6'2. Sometimes, the best way to tell is comparing your height to the person.

At age 17 he was 6'6.5" w/o shoes and 6'8" with shoes (his advertised height). He most likely grew a little after he was drafted. He appears to be almost exactly the same height as Ariza and Battier, so I'd guess the 6'8" number is very close. He did, however, have a larger wingspan -- 7'3" inches when he was with the Magic. Honestly, in his prime he was probably one of the top 5 most gifted NBA players ever -- too bad he was so injury prone.
Height: 6'8"
Vertical Leap: 42 inches (40.5" pre-draft)
Speed: 4.2sec in 40-yard dash (Reported in HS)
Wingspan: 7.3 inches (Reported with Magic)

No he's not, 6'8" is about right.
Looking at the pic it is believe-able that Duncan has 3 inches on him, not to mention KG and Duncan are both standing slightly behind him.

I thought it was widely agreed that KG was 7'1. It's not crazy to think T-Mac's 6'9ish.

Check out the Battier-Ariza pic with T-Mac that's gonna be the best comparison you can find. All 3 are listed at 6'8"

Nah KG isnt 7'1"...Shaq is. KG is 7 feet tall at the most but he claims to be 6'11" and 3/4.

I've always heard TMAC to be 6'8 in shoes and 6'6.5 barefoot. But I wouldn't be surprised if he grew some after that initial measurement.

I know that's what KG's listed at. But come on, the dude has to be 7'1 by now. He's huge.

That's a good shot. I guess 6'8"-ish makes sense. That 4.2 second 40-yard dash is probably bulllshit though. And, honestly, I've never encountered a pair of shoes that grant their wearer an extra inch and a half. Normal, men's shoes, that is - I'm not doubting he looks great in a pair of pumps though.

If the Hawks lose JJ, then we should have enough cap space to sign T-Mac, with JC moving to starting 2 guard, T-Mac at 3 and Marvin at sixth man.

He looks even taller than LeBron there, look where their shoulders are...but that was when T-Mac was on the Magic, so LeBron was young...and T-Mac is a little closer to the camera...but T-Mac looks a bit hunched over, I guess it evens out. Whatever LeBron's height is, T-Mac is the same.

Lebron was 6'7 1/4" barefoot and 6'8" in shoes in his rookie season. I heard that T-Mac grew to 6'7 1/2" barefoot and 6'8 3/4" in shoes, but he looks the same height or a bit shorter than a rookie Lebron right here. He probably did grow an inch to 6'7 1/2" barefoot and his bad back makes him slouch which makes him look shorter at times.

He can't be much taller than listed, he looks tiny next to Shaq who was measured at 7'1" without shoes. Shaq looks a good 7" taller although I'm sure his size 23 shoes give him an advantage.
http://i45.tinypic.com/11bt6k8.jpg
For reference, Mike Miller was measured at 6'7.5"(w/o shoes) and Grant Hill at 6'8"(w/o shoes). Looks the same height as Miller and a bit shorter than Hill

Here are some pictures with Kobe who was measured by his wife at 6'4 3/4"(I assume barefoot). T-Mac looks a different height in basically every picture. :wtf:
