Agent: Ilgauskas Will Re-Sign With Cavs

A Mavericks representative told ESPN.com on Sunday that agent Herb Rudoy informed the team that Zydrunas Ilgauskas intends to re-sign with the Cavaliers.

Rudoy has repeatedly insisted that Ilgauskas won't make a firm decision until next week.

NBA rules dictate that Ilgauskas must wait 30 days before re-signing with Cleveland, who traded him to Washington for Antawn Jamison earlier this month.

Even if the Celts had pulled this kind of thing off with Ray, I wouldn't have been too keen on it. I'm all for making my team better but...eh...this kinda "get for nothing" thing doesn't sit right with me.

But what's done is done. Hopefully they close that hole with the next CBA.

Haha nice bump. Big Z is still part of Cavs organisation. He was one of the guys who talked to LeBron about getting back to Cavs.

Yeah.. there was some chatter about him leaving after Grant got fired but he stuck around.
