Have there been anyone that actually got the perfect bracket and won 1 million? Unless you were somehow able to rig the tournament, it is almost impossible to get it perfectly right. The ways to figure the actual odds are numerous, but it's certainly 1 in multiple trillion. The odds of winning Powerball are 1 in 195mm, to put it in perspective. In looking for the specific odds I found a study by a guy who contacted all the major sites that offer big prizes for the brackets and none of them had ever had a perfect one.

Of course the real fun comes in office pools and bets with friends and all that.

It's great to see a talented, dangerous Temple in the tournament. They've been bounced in the first round that last two seasons. I haven't seen them play this season (caught a bit of the game today), but they're a apparently good sleeper pick. I've only seen glimpses of Juan Fernandez, but he's impressive from what I've seen.

One thing's for sure is that Duke will probably loose prior to the Sweet 16. In last bunch of NCAA's, they've gotten exposed by teams with size.

Problem with Duke is they've got a very soft trip to the final 4. I think they get bounced in the west, east, midwest but the south is very weak IMO. Bodes well for Nova who has been playing poorly as of late too.

On a scale of 1-10 how nervous are you about Siena? I'd say...6.5. They haven't beaten anyone, their best win is what, St. Joe's? Every time they've played teams of note they've lost. But they play a 1-2-2 3/4 court trap and they've struggled against Northewestern's 1-3-1 but I think once Lewis Jackson's able to break the trap Siena doesn't extend it so far out. If Siena gets up early though, say a 10 point lead, and they don't have to back off it could get ugly.

Siena does have a guy named "Just-in'Love Smith" that's in his 1st year of basketball after serving in Iraq. So the forces of good may be with them.

I did great in last year's bracket. I was 97 or 98 percentile on ESPN. But this year I'm not nearly as knowledgeable on the teams, so I'm not anywhere close to as confident in my picks. I homer picked Vandy against Butler, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Butler make a decent run to Elite 8. Maybe even FF depending on who makes it from the bottom-half of their bracket. Ohio State I think is always overrated and would be shocked to see them in FF, much less winning the whole thing, but I'm also biased against them. I also think Duke will just be another disappointment this year, or so I hope.

You get a loss for the second round because you had them winning then too. It doesn't count as a loss, you just don't get the points for that round. But if you have them losing in sweet sixteen, but you picked the right team they play against in the s16, then you get points for that round.

Picking the right champion is worth 32 points. In comparison, you had to pick every Sweet 16 team correctly to get 32 points. Picking the right champion can vault someone into the top spot. Basically, every round is worth 32 points if you get them all right.

I don't think I've ever met someone so wrapped up in fantasy sports that they boast about winning a fantasy game as if they just won a Nobel Prize in Fantasy Basketball.

In short, I treat everything in the real world like I treat this tournament. Thus, my standards are so high I don't allow myself to fail like you anywhere. Your standards aren't that high. I understand.

I know how strong my expertise in NCAA was coming into this tournament. On a level no one here could come close to. Yet I still participated in this ISH tournament. I felt like a NBA star going to play in a some random park. And then beating everyone while bragging. Kind of unfair really considering I'm so much better. But oh well.

Thanks to my expert analysis. But as I said earlier, me participating in this was unfair. My expert analysis were far too powerful and it was like an NBA player playing in a random court in the street.

But it's cool. If Michael Jordan in prime comes and plays a game of 21 with all the ballers. And he wins. The person who finished 2nd should still celebrate. Because from all the players at the same level, he did win. But Jordan (or me in this case), are just on another level, and us winning isn't surprising at all.
