The trip billed as Eddy Curry's coming-out party has instead turned into another fiasco for the Knicks' star-crossed center as he missed his fourth straight game last night during the Knicks' 94-84 victory over the Sixers. Though he hasn't been ruled out, it seems unlikely he will be on the court tomorrow in Boston after revealing to The Post he's getting worse instead of better. He's experiencing sharp pain in his right calf to go along with the tightness and the organization fears he could tear the muscle if he plays on it. NY Post

"Everybody's disappointed," said Knicks president Donnie Walsh, who came on the trip partly to monitor Curry. "We're disappointed. He's disappointed." "It's tightness and a sharp pain," Curry told The Post. "I was dealing with tightness trying to work through it. But that tightness turned to pain. They don't want me to tear it and be out the rest of the season. There's discomfort."
