It has the same concept as Shoot the Bullet, you play as Shameimaru Aya, Gensokyo notorious journalist and photographer crow tengu, and you have to take snapshots of enemy's bullet patterns while also dodge them. This time there is a new playable character named Hatate Himekaidou. She is basically the same as Aya, a journalist tengu, but is depicted as using a cellphone camera instead.

A keyboard or an arcade stick are the best options IMO. It would have a great arcade-y feel to the game with the stick, but I'm more used to a WASD controller.

One of very nice spinoff dojin games, MegaMari. Basically, it's a MegaMan 2 clone with Marisa as MegaMan and Patchouli as Dr. Wily. The storyline is pretty funny also.


Tired of Marisa (and occasionally Alice) constantly 'borrowing' books from her library, Patchouli Knowledge has hatched a plan to stop the incessant theft. Stashing her book collection deep inside a mechanized fortress filled with traps, she enlists the help of several other Touhou characters, all of whom have their own bones to pick with Marisa for one reason or another. With the help of Alice, Marisa sets out to defeat the other girls and gain new powers from them before making a climactic raid on Patchouli's castle to bring home another big haul of books.
