A lot of the student body here double as OU/OSU fans. They grow up in the bigger cities in Ohio rooting for the big time school, and then come here, keep their old rooting interest, and pick up on the Bobcats (well, sorta. Attendance really isn't that great for athletics)

Well, for most of MAC play during the season, OU really wasn't that good.

I went to basically every home game, and I thought that this was moreso a "team of the future" type of squad. Only one senior, so loads of inexperience. Some inner turmoil as well. I was STUNNED that we won the MAC. I did not see that coming at ALL.

We really got hot at the right time, and we live so much on the outside shot, that when that doesn't fall, we can do much else. Very little interior scoring.

I love my team coming back for next year. Kenneth Van Kempen is the only senior. John Groce is a coaching star in the making.

Anytime a 1 seed goes out before the Sweet 16, or Elite 8 even, is a big upset. But when it comes as a BIG TIME school for BBALL in Kansas against a "smaller" school like Northern Iowa (with no national exposure), it's huge.

Cornell could be tricky, but considering how mediocre they are defensively, I doubt they'd be much of a challenge; they give up 99.3 points per 100 possessions, the worst rate of any team left in the field. Foote is the kind of guy that could fluster Cousins and get him in foul trouble, and while they shoot a ton of 3's, they do it at an unbelievable percentage. But ultimately I wouldn't expect Kentucky to have much trouble with them.

Wisconsin, however, could be tough. They play their snail-paced, unorthodox swing offense, but they do it with some really talented players. Hughes, Bohannon and Leuer could play any style of basketball and are good enough to play for anyone. Kentucky would have their hands full with the Badgers. It wouldn't surprise me if Wisconsin pulled off that upset, but I don't think it will happen.

I wanted Texas A&M to win because I feel they are a tougher matchup for dook, but I can't get upset with Purdue making this run without Hummel. Kramer is my favorite non-UNC players in the nation. The guy is all heart.

Its ok dude, my bracket had Gonzaga taking out Syracuse and going to the Final Four.. yeah I just completely flopped this year. Oh, and I had Nova and Kansas as FF picks too.
