I've never actually felt one. Are there cheaper ones that feel similar to it?

It's like a TF-1000 Spalding basketball, but with a more composite feel.

Even if you can't grip the ball, you will always have control of the ball. It just has a incredible feel to it. I used one at Devin Harris's camp.

I've had one for a couple years so mine's dirty as hell and beat up now but I love it. The lines/creases/whatever are a lot less defined than other basketballs so anywhere you hold it for a shot, it feels more comfortable. My hands are very average sized; I can barely palm a ball cheating with deeper lines so with this it's nearly impossible, but it just feels better coming out of your hands.

I actually don't like it very much. I've been using TF-1000 for so long, its my favorite ball. The Official Ball doesn't feel as grippy. I also like the Wilson Evolution. This site compares the two basketballs:

I just bought an Evolution a couple days ago and I love it. I had already felt one and loved it... the lettering is different than the one on that site... i mean it still says Evolution but different text and stuff... same ball tho I assume. I liked the feel a lot better than a TF-1000 which was also there. I can play with a TF though just as easily... I just prefer the grip of the Evolution.
