Because they are the queens and will forever be. I'm not hating, you guys got a good thing in evans. But back in the day they were the queens and that will never change. Dont be mad.

That makes no sense. Just admit that you have no originality. You can't come up with another nickname, so you have to use a decade old one that Shaq made up.

SMH at the arrogance of many LAL fans. LA has 15 championships, Portland 1. And? That has what relevance regarding RoseCity? Funny how the "my team has X championships" card is most often deployed in basketball by LAL fans and in football by Cowboys fans (even though amusingly both rank #2 in that category)...

Kobe 19

My Top 5 players in the league are Bron, Wade, Kobe, Melo, and Durant. I don't see any of the other four playing this poorly regardless of the matchup. To be fair, this is Durant's first playoff game and his age must be taken into account. But, matchups aren't enough to explain away this performance.

He does. Like the kickout JVG was talking about, normally he makes that pass. He didn't and got to the line off of it. That's fine with me, especially if getting some easy fts would have bought his jumper back (which it didn't).

But nothing Artest is doing defensively is different from what Batum, Mbah A Moute, Brewer, C Butler, etc. and so forth have been doing all season and allowed him to average 30ppg. He's shooting the exact same shots. It's like he just has a mental block in his head about Artest that he needs to get over.

:oldlol:

I have nothing against Durant. In fact, he is one of my favorite players in the league to watch. I also like the fact that he does not seem boisterous or cocky and is more of a laid back character (unlike LeBron). I was just surprised at how poorly he played and about how he was basically a non-factor.

That was certainly the story of the game, so that is what I commented on. You can bet that if LeBron shot 7-24 and did not contribute in any other area, I would be discussing that after the game.

And, the reason why I came into this thread after the game was because Jeff's server was crapping out for the majority of the first three quarters.

Then again, I shouldn't have to explain myself. I don't dislike other star players in some desperate attempt to prop up my favorites. I am a CAVALIERS fan who enjoys watching other good basketball players. When a guy that I think so highly of plays that badly, I am going to comment on it... Whether it be Wade, Bron, Kobe, Melo, or whoever.

You make these threads but rarely post in them... what's the deal? I'm going to say close game until mid 3rd quarter and the lakers get it together.

12 pts from bynum

Can't wait till Kobe takes off the bandage (if he does) i predict it will be in WCF or finals... Can't grip the ball and his free throws are completely off.. Good to see bynum playing defense! Unstoppable
