I think its better for the series against the C's to start like this:

Varejao
Jamison
James
West
Williams

However, considering they plan on meeting the Magic and Lakers then they will stick with this:

O'Neal
Jamison
James
Parker
Williams

Probably this....

PG: West
SG: Moon
SF: LeBron
PF: Jamison
C: Shaq

They have everything in this lineup.

This would be the one that has no liabilities though, but lacks size.

PG: West
SG: Moon
SF: Lebron
PF: Jamison
C: Hickson/Powe

if by everything you mean 2 over the hill former all stars, two role players and lebron, then yes, i suppose they do.

C - Ilgauskus

The Cavs really kind of waste a position by playing Lebron at forward rather than PG.

Three shooters to spread the floor, Shaq in the middle and LeBron just abusing whatever power forward decides to stick with him.

Can't believe this is the first person to mention LeBron at PF. I would say this, but Veraejo or Hickson at C. That lineup is ridiculous offensively, and their defense is very good as well.

Love and Thompson isnt balanced enough defensively, you have to have Mozgov instead. It's why Blatt doesnt like playing Mozgov or Love in the fourth quarters because he wants Thompson instead and he needs balance. You cant play Thompson/Mozgov to close as both will hurt the offense and Love/Thompson closing cant stop penetration.

Best lineups are the obvious perimeter players Lebron/Thompson or Mozgov/Love. I think the starting lineup is the best as you have offense and defense, but Blatt definitely prefers the former maybe because he trust TT to get the clutch rebounds and make the clutch plays over Mozgov.

Didnt Mike Brown screw up hard not making adjustments with his lineup in the Celtics series?

Not really. The Celtics were just the better team. That Cavs team was sort of like this year's Hawks in that their regular season record didn't necessarily translate to playoff basketball.

With that being said, the Celtics stole Game 2 in Cleveland and the series was tied 1-1 going to Boston. Then, the Cavs absolutely demolished the Celtics 124-95 in Boston in Game 3 and it looked like order was restored. Everyone tore it up in that game. I think all starters were in double-figures, LeBron put up 30+, Jamison had a 20 point double-double and really dominated KG.

Then, the weirdness with LBJ started. That Game 3 was the last signature game he had in Cleveland before he came back this year.

That Celtics team was no doubt better, but the Cavs were actually in good position after three games. A lot of people forget that part of it.

They went on to win the next three games to take the series in six and then they trounced the Magic in the ECF.

Hell, they were even up on the Lakers in The Finals late in a Game 7 in LA. It took a pretty miraculous finish for LA to finally scrap and claw for that title.

That Celtics team was weird. They played all year like they were done. Everyone assumed the Cavs and Magic were going to battle for the EC title all season long. Then, the playoffs started and the Celtics were suddenly even better than they were the year before.

If Boston would have had homecourt against the Lakers in The Finals, I believe they would have won the whole thing... and they almost did anyways.

Very strange season all the way around, followed by the most bizarre offseason in NBA history.
