What became of Deron Williams' God-awful tattoo?

After watching the LA/Utah series I was wondering what it was supposed to be. Before it was just a panther or something like this.

Now it looks like the "background" is colored in and there's another tail at the top of his arm or something like this. I don't get it.

yeah, not sure what he's got going on there. he definitely went to get that black panther covered up for some reason. he should have just gotten it removed instead.

They are pretty horrible. Not sure how he came up with the panther in the first place, but he's had it since college.
