Actually I've switched my direction somewhat. I still aspire to act because I have great respect for it and believe I have the talent to perform it at a high level, but to pursue it right now I would have to abnegate the ability to control my own artistic output. I would have to join the (I forget the damn word, where a huge mass of fish are all swimming together in the same direction) but anyway, I want to lead, to perform, to produce RIGHT NOW. As you know, the daily grind of trying to get into acting is filled with so much futility and inefficiency, you are basically at the mercy of casting directors and what not, sending them your pictures and saying "please pick me!!!"

I have too many of my own original ideas, talents, ambitions, strategies and so forth to produce quality substance that I feel like only I can execute the way I really want. So I'm not focusing on going to auditions right now for a small part in a student film. I'm currently writing and just starting to perform comedy, but not just typical dumb comedy about silly subjects and potty humor, real comedy that is intelligent and juxtaposes lots of different things in unique ways. I'm also studying web design so that I can run my own website to voice my opinions about basketball and football, politics, music, and all the other things I feel I have a legitimate handle on and ability to communicate effectively.

I'll write some more on the matter in a little while, right now my fingers need a break from typing.

actually no, i'm 25 and its been at that same point since i was about 20. theres a picture of me that everyone has seen here of me at the beach about three years ago and my hair is the exact same way. i have that thing where it goes back a little bit at the temple, but its not going away. it looks exaggerated because as i said, i just got my haircut. my uncle who i look just like is 43 and has the same hairline as i do.


I actually have a similar hairline. Mine doesn't really go back but around the temple the hairline is vertical instead of tapering forward. My hair is pretty thick tho so I usually have a mop top and my hairline, and forehead, doesn't show.

I would recommend longer hair styles to cover up the temple area if you are self conscious about it.

Considering starface is 25 and I'm only 28, that was just three years ago. The life I have now is not drastically different from the life I had then (career wise anyway). I guess I used my noggin' a bit more practically so at a young age I'd realize I needed to make something 'realistic' of myself, and that's what I did.

Perhaps when I was much younger (18-21) I had different ideas and convictions about what I wanted to do with my life, or what I would become in life... but even then I understood the difference between dreaming and aiming high. AssClown starface would like us to believe he's just aiming high, but the unfortunate truth is he's simply dreaming, thus he's in the situation he's in now (25 years old and not a damn thing going for him).

I also hope the best for him. We're on the internet, so we goof off and joke around, etc... but I certainly wish no one 'real life' ill will or bad intentions. I hope he does put something together for himself. He might want a wife and kids one day, and being a 'dreamer' isn't going to provide for such things.

my parents also help me with living expenses because they're supportive of what I'm trying to do, and I also saved them all that money they saved up for college by not actually going for more than a year.

i also just go on craigslist and find stuff to make a quick few bucks. a lot of the tv shows and gameshows that tape during the weekday out here pay you to go sit in the audience for a few hours, so i do that once in a while. if you're intelligent, articulate, and presentable and you look around, you can find ways to make money out here.

yeah its cause you have to have 17 days in a row available to stay overnight, but have to pass an alcohol, drug, nicotine, and general health screen so you cant just be some bum off the street, and then of course you have to get stuck with a needle once a day for a blood draw and of course there's "technically" a risk involved to an investigational drug (this one's for an asthma medication, which coincidentally i have anyway) but this isn't some underground lab testing crazy stuff the way most people probably picture it. these take place constantly around the country, i've done about a dozen since getting out of college, the facilities are state of the art, big screen tv's, recliners, ping pong tables, etc. etc.

I tried and tried to explain things to people as clearly and logically as possible. Hoping to make a difference in their way of thinking. And it just became too much. Too depressing, this is humanity. Imagine not being able to explain to someone that 2 + 2 = 4. You try to show them in the most logical, simplest way possible. Even using the fingers on both hands. If you take two fingers from one hand, and then add two fingers from the other hand, and then count them, it equals to 4. It became very foolish to argue with people who insist that it's anything but 4.

I mostly lurk nowadays, having moved on to bigger and better things. You might even see your boy on Jeopardy soon. And my YouTube channel might have a few hundred thousand subscribers. Might.
