i don't think that is the point. it is just a generalization that we can apply to everyone. some 16 year olds can be more mature than 20 year olds, some can be as immature as 13 year olds. but we can't realistically go around and evaluate the mental capacity and psychological state of every 16 year old just to see if someone over the age of 18 can legally score with them.

additionally however, if they were to get pregnant i doubt many 15 year olds have the financial resources to support their children. it is not just about wisdom. a 15 year old should have the chance to go to school and university but that will be taken away if they make a mistake.

Depends on how old you are. There is this idea that as you mature you look for more than a pretty toy. I'd say over the age of like 22 or 23 you should understand that no 16 17 or even 18 year old can satisfy you.

I think the whole 18 year old age thing is too overplayed. Everyone would want to jump in to have sex with a hot 18 yo, but if its a 17 yo girl she instantly becomes a child

I can post a story. My friend I met in college my first semester when I was 18 about 5 years ago. He was dating this girl who he had been with for about 3 years. He met her and was messing with her when she was 17, he was around 23 at the time. I didn't think much of it because he was 26, she was now at the time around 21.

Only thing I thought about was the stories he told me upon meeting her. He would be in her room, etc. I didn't think anything of him but looked down on her because she knew his age.

I knew he wasn't his first. Some of these girls are purely into older men. And by men I mean not little boys

i'm 26 now, even 18 is starting to seem young to me. i think i'd feel way to much like a predator and therefore guilty afterwards so probably not.

but i'm not going to say i wouldn't outright. it'd be one of those "my brain is playing my ***** in a chess game" situations. i'm 99% sure i'd pass on a 16 year old, that is just beyond. 17 is sort of a grey area. if they are closer to 18 than 16 i'd give it 50/50 chance i would do it. it really depends on the girl too.

looking back i'd say up until 21 i would have done it in a second. but you gradually move away from the mindset of wanting to jump on any hot chick that is up for it.

Yeah chicks that are under 21 don't know wtf they want.
