Well, if you have a girlfriend or a younger sister of something, it would be impossible NOT to have heard of paramore. They're everywhere..

And like i said, they're actually really good.. I'm a 20 year old guy and i have no problem admitting that i like them. I actually saw a concert of them 3 weeks ago here in salt lake city and they were incredible.

And i'm gonna have to defend hayley at least a little on this one.. the pic might not be the most flattering one because of the weird angle of it. But if you look up hayley williams on google images or something, she's hella hot.

Currently on tour playing in arenas, and their singles have placements all over TV, not to mention that Airplanes song playing at random establishments from target to bars. :lol

Let me guess, you haven't heard of Taylor Swift or Nickelback either? You're such a bad ass you don't even have to listen or have any knowledge of music.

Well it depends on how you measure "best" obviously.. I like Amy Lee from evanescence (and if you were ranking "best" solely on singing talent, she'd win hands down), and i like lacey mosley from flyleaf too (i actually saw flyleaf last november in concert and there's not a single song by them that i don't like).. I just think that hayley has "the whole package." Good songs, incredible voice (she sounds just as good live (if not better) than the way she sounds on cds.. which is a rare thing to hear these days), she's young and she's hot, she actually dances and gets into her songs when she performs.. So yeah, overall she's just a really good performer.

There's still a lot of bands that i like more than paramore obviously, but when it comes to the genre of female rock, they really are a great band.. This is my favorite song by them: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irdXJfD1Ht4

Hmm, i think you're musically closed minded when it comes to this genre then.. It's like a lot of parents. They hear music that their kids are listening to and they think it "all sounds the same." Mainly because that music is different than the type that they're used to, so rather than try to give it a chance (as in a REAL chance), they just branch the entire genre off into essentially a sub-music category..

So yeah, everyone's entitled to their opinion when it comes to music, but there really is a lot to be appreciated with female led rock bands.

Yeah i've heard of lacuna coil and within temptation, both have a few really good songs that i like.. I hadn't heard of halestorm until now though, and yeah, they're a pretty good band..
