The Los Angeles Lakers are one of the most famous basketball teams in the NBA. The Lakers also have quite a large fan base. A room dedicated to the team would be enjoyed by any fan. Here is how you can decorate a room with a Los Angeles Lakers theme.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
Step 1
Paint the walls of the room in the colors of the Lakers. You could simply do Laker yellow or use both yellow and purple. To know specifically which colors to use, look at either a hat or jersey.

Step 2
Place a Los Angeles Lakers banner in the room. You can buy a generic banner and use that for decoration. You could also find a replica championship banner from one of the NBA titles the Lakers have won and place that in the room.

Step 3
Buy some action figures of either current or former Los Angeles Lakers and place them on the wall. These may seem a bit childish, but you'd be surprised how much these can be worth years down the road. They also look very cool on the wall.

Step 4
If you don't have one already, buy a replica Magic Johnson jersey. Place that jersey in a frame and then hang it on a wall in the room.

Step 5
Buy a large team picture of one of the championship Lakers teams. Place that picture in a frame and hang that on a separate wall. These are a great decoration as well as a nice collector's item.

Step 6
Buy a basketball that has been autographed by either an entire Lakers team or one of the great players in Lakers history. Display this basketball in the room by putting it in a clear case. This is a must for any fan that is devoted enough to have an entire room dedicated to the Lakers.

1. I don't think a team themed room is very cool. I can dig a room with a big screen, surround sound, etc. to enhance the sports experience but not a straight up team room. Get a poster or a team flag and you're set.
