View Full Version : How Likely Is a Lebron/Wade/Bosh Trio

Could it happen? They would have to take a little less money. It could only work in Miami.

Would it be bad for the league?
Yes. It would result in fewer real contenders and concentrate the balance of power leading to waning interest in some markets.

How many rings?
I say at least 3 at most 6 with injuries the main factor.

Could they adapt to play together?
They did it for the olympics. I say yes. They would need some 3 point shooters and a rebounder/defense type guy. James could play the 4 spot with Bosh at C and it would still work.

What do you think?

0.00% chance of happening.

]Could it happen? Yes. If Bosh gets S&T for SuperCoolBeas, and D-Wade resigned, I don't see how LeBron could say no.

Would it be bad for the league? Oh hell yeah. It'd be the most dominant team in the history of the NBA. Bad for other markets

How many rings?
Barring injuries... I would say about 5. There are always upset teams that somehow pull it off.

Could they adapt to play together?
See Olympics, 2008.

It seems Bosh is already joining Wade, so this part of prediction already happened, now lets see if Lebron joins as it was said. IMO quite possible, if he lowers his ego and salary a bit. Thats elite dynasty right there.

I think it could happen. If I was those players I would do it.

Could/would the league office and the overarching networks of businessmen and agents behind the scenes try to stop this from happening? I mean it could be disastrous for the league.

Or is there a flipside? Is there a reason the league would actually encourage this?

They would have no $ left to sign anyone else..it would be those 3 and a mix of Rookies,D Leaguers and over the Hill Vets..

So you've spoken to Bosh today?...nice. Especially since he hasn't even heard all the teams pitch him yet. Also...you spelled truly wrong....

Its not beneficial for the NBA, since you get the best players from 3 teams in one, in primes no less. Toronto and Cavs instantly become lottery teams. Fewer contenders, less fans watching.

Do you think the NBA powers that be consisting of agents and backroom guys have the power to make sure this doesn't happen?

Bringing Corie Blount back ? Sweet...I think Elton John has a joint in South Beach too, maybe he can lace 'em up. He'd have some tight uniform ideas.

Dont think so if players decided for sure, but if Lebron is still deciding anything can happen. He is lured like there is no tomorrow, like Knicks with ~1 billion $ "proposal".

okay realistically lebron would have to play the 4 and bosh the 5 in spots.

Wade/Lebron/Bosh + chalmers, cook, and dleaguers = finals appearance

What a terrible idea. They would get torn apart inside. Basketball is a game won in the paint.

No chance. Zip, zero, 0.00% chance.

People who don't realize that this will never happen don't quite understand these players and how the NBA works.

And in all realness, I sincerely think Wade doesn't want Lebron on his team. He definitely knows he's good enough w/ the addition of Bosh alone to win a few titles.

On top of that, Lebron will play second fiddle to NO ONE. That's a fact of life.
Same goes for Mr. Wade.

Honestly, they remind me of the early 2000 Lakers, they should have Three-
