Didn't Nolan say something to the effect of never using Penguin in one of his movies because the character is too far-fetched? Of course, they're all pretty far-fetched, really.

I just hope they have Riddler in the the next one. I know Nolan is a pretty damn good director, but I can't help but to think that the next movie will take a pretty sharp decline from TDK. Oh well, you can always hope.


See, I don't understand his logic on that one. The Penguin should be the easy to adapt to the more serious direction he has gone. Dude is really just a mobster. Its not like the Tim Burton version is how he has to be done. Instead of crazy umbrellas, you could just have one with a gun or one with a knife. Its not like those can't be made for real life.

Really? I've watched it about 73 times and love it. And I don't normally watch movies over and over. Once I see a movie a couple of times, I'm done with it (for a few years at least). But I've seen this movie a ton.

It's clear that most of the actress related Bat-rumours have centered on Catwoman, but another iconic female character got a mad rumour all of her very own.

Popcrunch.com reported that Disney starlet Miley Cyrus was being lined up to play Batgirl. Apparently; she "stunned" producers after turning up at Warner Bros., in full costume pitching herself for the role.

However, their insider said: "some people aren't really convinced Miley has the acting chops to pull it of." If Nolan wants Batman 3 to be a musical however, then this would be a great move.

As for the people speaking about Robin, Nolan has reiterated in multiple interviews that there is no possible way that hes doing a story line with Robin. He says that the Man and Boy concept is not something he want to explore. I recall that hes been stating that even before Batman Begins was released.

Hardest part about the 2nd one is the villains. Penguin and Riddler are lame, Black Mask and Bane etc. are too unknown probably. Catwoman would be sweet with Rachel dead, but you need another villain like in Returns.

I think it is clear that 3 was supposed to be Joker and Two Face sort of teaming up. I think they'll leave Two Face dead now(it was sort of open ended, even though he appeared dead. Was the same type of fall as the mobster survived). I think Two Face would have went on a rampage in Gotham(otherwise why waste him, using him as a villain for only the last 20 minutes of one movie) while Joker was in Arkham Asylum, stewing and waiting. Two Face would break him out, or he'd break himself out, then they'd team up to get Batman, as they'd both have serious beef with him at that point, as well as both wanting to create chaos(controlled chaos with 2face). Now, i don't know where they go. They could bring back Two face and introduce Catwoman. They could get a new Joker and do 2 face and Joker anyways or they could get a new Joker and do Joker/Catwoman with Two face dead. The one guy at Wayne enterprises could become the riddler and they could use Penguin as new head of the mob in Gotham. Definitely would want it to be Hoffman or Gandolfini. Black Mask would be interesting as he is an interesting duality to Batman
