They have the 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 championships in the bag, so why not more? Absolutely feasible, especially if Wade is still in tip top physical shape when he's 34/35.

No they don't.

And they won't get 7 championships. For now they should just focus on getting one.

In any case though he didn't actually guarentee 7 championships, so the OP is incorrect.

He's going to have to win 7rings in 10years basically. I doubt LeBronze will do anything at the age of 33.. He better win 4 in a row!

He also said "not seven" . . .

It's in the 2nd video "practice". Not necessarily meaning winning titles, then again LeBron talking 8 titles basically puts it -given context of what's being said- in perspective.

What are you talking about? Announcer said something about winning championships with an "s." James said "not two, not three, not four, not five, not six, not seven, hey, and when I say that I really believe it" and a bunch of stuff about smoke and business. First of all, that would mean 8+ championships. But he never guaranteed anything, and he never said anything about it being easy.

If you can't get a link to back you up, you have nothing to stand on.

How humble of a guy that had a 1 hour decision special...

Really I straight up hate LeBron now. No respect...win one first for Christ sakes.

You never heard any other player say crap like that. This dude is drinking his own kool aid. He probably will win one or two but riding on Wade'sship.

He does say, "its going to be easy" in that video, but that has nothing to do with his "not seven" championship statement earlier.

People need to pay much closer attention to what people say. SMH.

LOL these clowns should focus on getting a proper team around them. Then, they can talk about how many rings theyre gonna win.

07-10-2010, 03:13 PM
Lebron actually gauranteed no rings for the heat. Listen to his exact words.

"Not one ring. Not two rings. Not Three. Not four. Not five. Not six. Not seven."

He basically said Miami wasn't going to win any rings.

LeBron the villain, I love it hahaha LOL Vince McMahon has to be behind all of this...anyway he did say it would be easy on the court because they would challenge each other so much in practice. He basically said he wants to win 7 championships, why 7 is the plateau for these guys I will never know, it should be 12. It's as if Bill Russell doesn't exist and Jordan is all that matters :confusedshrug:

LOL 12 is already crazy enough, 27 is insanity!! LeBron is going too far with this crap already though and I like LeBron, but come on dude...he didn't just put his foot in his mouth, his entire leg is in there, up to his damn ankle. They should have a different attitude about it, the "our play will speak for itself" attitude instead of cutting these WWE-esque promos.

You made it farther than most people in this thread, but that isn't what it means. He said it in continuance of the statement that he didn't come to Miami to win one ring, "no, not [to win] two rings, not [to win] three rings, etc.." He pointed at 8 or more championships. Never guaranteed anything, never said they would be easy.

and if he was THAT confident, he wouldnt have an opt out clause.

No, he actually said in a roundabout way that he wouldn't bring a single title to Miami, but he did say that winning titles would be easy after practicing against D-Wade every day

He said that putting on superman capes would be easy. It was a new question with no reference to the championships. It even looks like a good amount of time passed between the two questions.

Think of it this way: I didn't come here to win one championship. I didn't come here to win two championships. . . . I didn't come here to win seven championships. Eight championships works.

They're getting 0. Bosh is an awful defender. What's he gonna do against Gasol/Bynum with Odom coming off the bench? NOTHING. Zero titles. The Bulls are just as good as the Heat IMO.

^ this crap is why everyone's going to be making fun of Heat "fans" for years to come.

They haven't even played a game and you're talking 5-peat.

Lest you forget LBJ hasn't won shit, and choked the only time he got to the finals, and Bosh has sucked every time he's been in the playoffs.

Heat won't make it to the finals in 2011. Book it.

Luigi

How about ZERO championships?

The announcer stuck out that possibility with the initial question.

Here's the logical structure:
1. James went to Miami to win championships.
2. James didn't go to Miami to win one championship.
3. James didn't go to Miami to win two championships.
4. James didn't go to Miami to win three championships.
5. James didn't go to Miami to win four championships.
6. James didn't go to Miami to win five championships.
7. James didn't go to Miami to win six championships.
8. James didn't go to Miami to win seven championships.

8+ championships satisfy his statement.

I am that I am

Yep unless the Heat can somehow get Kendrick Perkins they are going to get dominated down low on the boards and scoring by any team with decent height.

Right now their starting lineup is Bosh at C, Haslem at PF and that team gets torn apart down low by the Lakers, Orlando, Bulls, hell even old Tim Duncan lol

I wonder if Howard will be good enough to handle the Heat.

We still have to wait and see what Miami's bench looks like, but I want to see Nelson and Howard look for their weak spots.

considering he averages 36/20 60% vs Bosh in the playoffs, I think it is safe to say that Howard can handle the Heat
