Wade is better than Iverson ever was and it's not really arguable. I do think he's a taller, bigger and better version of AI, though. Maybe Jordan lite but I never saw much of young Jordan save for the occasional highlight reel. Wade is more like a relentless slasher with a great mid range game from pull up, catch and shoot etc. Streaky from three but can definitely light it up from there occasionally. Great at splitting defenses, reading the defense and moving well without the ball which was evident in the '08 Olympics. Great court vision, too. His defense has also been better in the past couple of years. In his early years, he was more of a gambler and didn't really stick to basic man defense principles. Besides TMac, he's definitely the best shot blocking 2 guard since MJ. Great instincts and weakside defense. 2nd best player in the league after James as far as I'm concerned.

It'd be interesting to see how or if Wade changes his game when he turns 31/32-ish. He'll definitely see a loss of athleticism, injuries and playing time taking a toll on his body etc. He might bulk up and develop a post game. But, hey, that's what they said about AI in his mid 20s and he was putting up 26/7 as a 32 year old so you never know.

Wade is a very poor man's '85 - '89 Jordan, without the jumper and overall footwork / offensive refinement. And poorer, lazier man defense. Everything else is very similar.
