8/10.

One of the better action movies I've seen in a while. As for the ending being crap, I disagree. It has a nice twist that'll really surprise you.

I'm about to watch it. I will give you my informed opinion which will in turn make all further input irrelevant with its' superiority.

15 minutes in and Adrien Brody has a severe case of Dark Knight voice. He must be tough.

Half through and this movie stinks, just sayin. OH SHIT I JUST SAW A PREDATOR...oh wait, I didn't. I mean shit, Danny Glover would've been a lot cheaper than Larry Fishburne and a good tie in.

Isabelle and Hanzo made this film decent.

C+

a good film to watch on DVD when it comes out.

They could of made this film so much better...

Where's Brody's 6 pack? Oh, there it is. That's what 3 months of a personal trainer gets you in Hollywood, me with more hair and height and a lot less nose.

It was ****ing awful. The acting was shit and so were the kills. I found myself laughing more then anything and it was so predictable. The only cool scene was when the Asian mafia guy had the fight in the valley.

I give it 5/10.

Adrien Brody did a convincing job as a gruff mercenary. Loved the varied guns the humans had

I have to say I was so disappointed in this movie. The script was horrible. No character or Alien development. The film tried to replicate Predator in so many instances but it failed miserably. Their was no comradeship to even warrant self sacrifice. Although Predator wasnt laden with action it built on the characters and what they were going through the mystery of who or what they were dealing with. Funny in this movie no one was hungry or thirsty at all.

Their were only 3 scenes that I enjoyed. The Alien vs The Yakuza, The ship leaving for earth, and the Prisoner vs The Alien.

The ending was open to a continuation maybe the next film will do it better.

They have to dumb down the dialogue due to my generation's lack of intelligence, which sucks for some of us.

The best thing in it was fishburne talking to his imaginary friend. I was hoping they would reveal a dude in predator stealth suit with him the whole time, but not in the cornball last second surprise save way. The film was seriously lacking more eeriness, and mystery. That element of science fiction seems to be a lost art.

Predators movies aren't about mystery and element of science fiction, it's about survival, guns, death and kick ass action

Seen it a week ago, it was decent. Ending was unexpected though. Inception has my attention right now though, that movie was amazing.

The second act of the first movie was, after the attack on the rebels when they were being stalked. The third act after everyone but Arnold were dead was more survivalist.

Completely agree, the rest of the movie was rather dull and the pace dragged on at times.

For me, the 2 best parts was

1- When Adrian decide to attack the predator all by himself

2- The tribute to Billy (when the yakusa stay behind to wait for the predator)

Yes, these two scene were a tribute to the first movie, but I find them awesome

It wasn't bad, but I didn't like any of the characters. They were just a collection of individuals, shrouded in "mystery", whereas in the first two movies, they gave you teams that were close and the characters had a bit more behind them. Maybe I just liked Arnold and Danny Glover and the rest of the crews more and I'm being biased, but I feel like these characters were lacking in everything.

The one part I did enjoy was the Asian dude staying behind with just a sword (kinda like Billy staying behind with his machete, and King Willie in the alley with his sword), and you actually got to see his last stand. Whereas we didn't get a chance to see Billy or King Willie to do any damage or anything in their mano-e-mano confrontation.

Also, I expected more of Furious Styles. He could survive for "10 seasons" or whatever, and was obviously considered worthy prey when he was brought there, but he sure went out like a *****.

I saw it yesterday, very mediocre and instantly forgettable. There are maybe three likeable characters. The russian(role too small), the yakaza (almost no dialogue or character development, dies too easy), and the girl (who is helpless for almost the entire final battle).

They take way too long setting things up, but there is no character development, mystery or suspense during this time to justify the long setup.

There is not nearly enough action or violence in this movie either, and I'm one that likes plot more than action, but since they really didn't have a plot they really needed to go all out and massively failed to do so.

There is no mystery to the Predators anymore though. You can do that in the first, but to have it a mystery to the characters but not too the audience would not fit well in this movie. To make a completely new mystery about something on the side would likely irritate many who are there to watch the Predators.
