I thought the first list was bad back in 98, but this is far, far worse, lol.

Radiohead,Neil Young, Aretha Franklin and Pink Floyd are ranked too low.

Where is Nina Simone?..... she's a top 20 without a doubt.

U2 is ranked too high, Led Zeppelin is ranked WAY too high (as much as I used to love them). Where's 'Deep Purple'? No 'Wu-Tang Clan'?

Justin Timberlake above Otis? MADNESS!!!

Beyonce, Alicia Keyes, George Michael, The Doors, Mariah Carey, Timberlake, Eminem, and Green Day are the only people on this list who would not sniff a list conjured up by The Dash Mane. The order is off, but for what it is it is not THAT terrible.

Off the top of my head I would insert Dr. Dre, The Badbrains, The Pixies, X, The Wu Tang Clan, Eric B. & Rakim, Louis Armstrong, Daft Punk, Stevie Wonder, Miles Davis...The list is really lacking in the Jazz department.

Old world classical music also got the shaft.

Lamar Doom is definitely pissed off now.:oldlol:

These lists are all subjective, all they do is put the beatles at number one, and bullshit the rest.

I think that each ISH poster should make their own personal top 100 lists. That would be much cooler imo.

LMAO @ Nirvana. What the hell did they do to reach that high on the list?

There are some really odd selections and some obvious snuffs that just makes you think. . . what was going through their head when they made this? How does Peter Gabriel make it but not a band like Daft Punk? No one can justify that.

She's incredibly talented, I have three of her albums(MJB,What's the 411 and Growing Pains) but this list is garbage so I'm just happy they had her on there because she doesn't get the credit she deserves. At this point, I dont even care about position, that is irrelevant to me. When you have Nirvana at 14 or wherever the hell they have them, I stopped caring about where they ranked these artists.

Usher has the same amount of classic albums as Donnell Jones, 1. Those are not the stats of a top 100 artist.

I can't stand Usher, however, Donnell Jones' "Where I Wanna Be" is one of my favorite albums of all time. I'm pretty sure it was one of the first CD's I ever bought way back in 1999.

That reasoning doesn't make sense though, there are at least 20 names I would take off the list before her.

Alicia Keys can go. Beyonce too.Timberlake. Eminem really shouldn't be near this list if it's made by grown men/women. And others.

These are some of the voters ...

Alicia Keys, Ozzy Osbourne, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Iggy Pop, Nas, Rob Halford (Judas Priest), Geddy Lee (Rush), Alex Lifeson (Rush), Michael Diamond (Beastie Boys), Daryl Hall, John Oates, Noel Gallagher (Oasis), Gene Simmons (KISS), Adam Levine (Maroon Five), 50 Cent, Nelly Furtado, Mandy Moore, Carrie Underwood, Adam Clayton (U2)

Jay-Z sucks and yet somehow he's top 50 and ahead of every hip-hop artist/group. WTF? You know how I know this list is gay? Coldplay is at 67. It seems like they make these lists bad just so people will talk about them and argue over the shit.

Not that bad... stuff like this is sooooooooo tough. If you think the top 50, top 5 GOAT, top 20 NBA threads in the main hoop room are bugged out and prone to bias, think about the problems faced when it comes to music.

I could make a great argument for Paul Oakenfold deserving a spot and I dislike Oakie pretty strongly. And he is a DJ...

No Roy ****ing Orbison? Carl Perkins? Buddy Holly? Lol... but that's the thing. To easy to say "Roy did not have enough hits" or "Carl didn't have any staying power"

All in all it is not utter shite and that is about the best one can ask for with something like this.

Someone will probably flame me for this but...

Bee Gees are listed WAY too low.

Run-DMC as well.

ABBA being ranked 12 spots ahead of Pearl Jam is the funniest thing I've ever seen in my life.

The fact that they are rated higher than Pearl Jam, Outkast, Costello, EW&F, Curtis Mayfield, and basically anyone else behind them makes me want to puke.

There are multiple ridiculous rankings but I don't feel like wasting my time.

changed the face and direction of corporate RnR? Whether you think they were any good artistically is besides the point, they were able to redirect the entire focus of corporate Rock (whether that is a good thing is moot).

and any list with beyonce as a top 100 artist of all time is retarded.
