Used to see this game posted on /v/ all the time when it first got started. I always thought it looked interesting, only played the demo though. Because of this thread, finally gonna give the game a shot. The main website seems to be down, so I'm just gonna download the torrent from bitGamer. If I enjoy the game I do plan on buying it.

Game is way too addicting. Found a huge tunnel system, with lava and rivers. Still trying to find diamonds. Dying sucks though, not just because you lose what your holding, but it can be hard to find your base again.

I'm down for that. I've been playing for some 2 weeks. The only time I found some diamond (quite a lot, like 12 blocks or so), I ended up falling into a pit of lava and losing everything.

Ok, I think I just nerdgasmed.

I started a new level out of being bored and just coming home from school.

I spawned, looked straight and to my right, and was like "meh, this is average."

just before i began jumping upwards i looked to the left and saw a waterflow, a giant hole-y thing, then like a huge tall waterfall, and some visible caverns.

So right now as it stands i built a house under that giant circular opening thing, which has a small moat around it(felt like experimenting with water abit)

i just got off and have then explored the biggest cave system ever. i pretty much lit it up all around and only dug up SOME coal and any visible other ores. probably going to do my digging operations there, but i seriously dont know where to start.

other points of interest was a slightly indented cave really close to my home that i might use as some sort of experimenting thing or something im not really sure. going to eventually do something with the waterfall area.

This will occupy most of my minecraftateering until my damn internet gets all fixed up.

I might upload some pics later on, but im too lazy for now.

I just watched a bunch of youtube vids on Minecraft and I'm going to stay away from this game because I have a feeling that I would not touch any other game for weeks if I started playing Minecraft. This looks like a brilliant idea.

Love the, now viral, video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnjSWPxJxNs

Some really good additions there, although this torch thing is gonna need me to make some other form of landmark. Probably gonna have to make lots of signs or firepits.

this was one guys idea, and he alone built the framework it seems. but after that initial part was done it was too much and he enlisted the help of fellow players. and it looks like they did a great job. cool stuff.

BUMP

I've been playing for about a month now, and I'm loving it. So many things you can do, and it's crazy how complicated some things can be (like with redstone wiring and what not).

Great game that focuses on gameplay rather than graphics :applause:

I bought the pc version about a month ago. I played a good amount of a pirated version awhile back, and the success of the 360 version got me kinda curious again. I've put maybe 3-4 hours into it since then, maybe not the best purchase but whatever.

It's fun. Not very addictive in general, but once you decide to work on a project to build, it gets kinda addictive until you finish it,:lol
