Saturday Night Live: Stand Up Guys sketch (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1nlNKKF8w8)

This is from 1985 I believe. Sketch also features SNL'ers John Lovitz, Dennis Miller and the special guest Jay Leno.

No wonder he got himself fired, that sketch was horrible.

That sketch was from 1985, I doubt they are doin Jerry Seinfield, who hadn't yet made a name for himself. Maybe Jerry was watching this episode, lol.

He was a known stand up comedian at that time. He was doing that schtick back then.

doubt people at home were goin' "hey man, that's Seinfield they're doin"

Probably not, but that had to be the inspiration for that skit. SNL didn't make that up.
