Cause they are part of the glitterati I suppose, and they are forced down our throats by the Entertainment media and by fashion magazines and such. We are led to believe, or allow ourselves to believe that their beauty is the best beauty and this what everyone wishes they could be. Then when 20 years go by, we look back and say, damn they didn't age gracefully even though they aged normally. It's because the mental image of when they were at their "peak" of popularity and image has been imprinted in our brain ever since.
