I keep hearing people say he's 7'0. Is this just another exaggeration like back when people were calling Lebron 6'9 275, or is this the truth?

He's 6' 9 1/2 barefooted and 6'11 in shoes. He's not 7' but he's close and with his ridiculous wingspan he has a standing reach that is right there with Howard, Oden, Gaso, Bogut, etc...well I guess not Oden considering he can't even stand currently

Probably not. He's so skinny, and has such long arms, both of which make him look taller than he is.

He's taller than Jeff green though, so 6'10" maybe.

Dwight has extremely broad shoulders so his standing reach is higher than most ppl 6'9 1/2 or 6'10 whatever he is in shoes

well his standing reach is 9'3 and in comparison with some other players..

Noah 8'10 1/2"
Oden 9'4"
Horford 8'11"
Aldridge 9'2"
Bargnani 9'12"
Dwight 9'3 1/2"
Bosh 9'1"
LeBron 8'10 1/4"




So while LeBron might have a 5-6 inch advantage in vertical leap over Durant, they're basically the same at their maximum reach

Durant's max reach is 12 feet which is extremely high although Dwight's was 12'3" at the same age. Not sure what Durant's is now that he's apparently grown an inch or so..probably 12'1 or so, I doubt he's improved his vert much

His roster stat reads 6'9"

I've seen enough , besides pic's to garner a guess he is 6'11".

If he was 7' he could bench press 180 pounds , and he can't.
