I teach teenagers who like to take photos of themselves, that is where this stemmed from. Outside of work is fine with the people I hang out with. No offence but this is a stereotype, I work on the main shopping street of Singapore and Asian people take a lot photos they seem to do this in every shot. Also, on the train to and from work, there a lot of rich kids here who spend their whole day checking how they look by doing this in photos.
