In case people aren't noticing those drives aren't working anymore. I think Lebron has been called for more charges this season than he has in his entire career. Defenses are packing the paint, anticipating his drives and beating him to the spot now. It's ridiculous that he hasn't developed a low post game with the basic footwork by now. A player with his size and strength could punish smaller guards/forwards on the low block and force the defense to react freeing up shooters on the outside.

Havent you seen him post up and absolutely kill Ron Artest over and over 3-4 games in a row against Lakers last season? He even posted up Kobe and made Kobe fall over flop and then trip Lebron sending him to the FT line.

Lebron post up game is not perfect, he needs to work on it, but its not bad at all! But he needs to use it, he almost never uses it, thats what he is criticized for, that he doesnt post up!

Getting everything done and failing to get a good shot after posting up is not the best. Even though he gets double teamed when he gets low, he should still be able to do that with those skills.

Agreed. Lebron isn't completely useless in the post. He posted up Ron Artest pretty damn easy last year and scored when the Cavs were going against the Lakers. I thought he was going to keep developing that part of his game but he's fallen off.

Nah, Lebron's post game isn't close to great. It's average at the moment. He can back guys down with his strength and maybe throw up a little jumphook (which is mainly what he did to Artest) but that's about it. His footwork and coordination are terrible. He hasn't shown he can make multiple moves/pivots.

Actually 3 of the shots were three pointers which came from 30 seconds left in the game when they had already lost and the last one was a half court shot with one second left in the game.

He can back a guy down and throw up and awkward hook or a shot but that's about it. Well I was watching the replay of tonight's game and saw Lebron tried to post up a couple of times and pretty much did the same thing I was talking about before. He can back a guy down but once he gets down towards the rim it seems like he doesn't know what to do next. There's a slight pause and he kind of just threw up an off-balanced jumper. He at least drew a doubleteam on one of his post-ups and got a player a wide open shot but I was questioning why Orlando even doubled him in the first place. They should make Lebron prove he can score down there first.

Lebron is terrible in the post... Ive seen him post up countless times and it usually ends up in a bricked shot or he loses the ball..:facepalm

Kobe makes a ton of those shots, obviously he gets a bit trigger happy some games but more often than not the lakers win so its a non issue really..

At lebrons size, and with the defence focused on blocking his drives now, he really should be working on his post game.. Not driving and kicking, not launching 3s, not dribbling around like a retard.....

That's his biggest problem with his post game... he's never on the block. He sometimes catches the ball with his back to the basket, but he never is on the block or pinning a guy under the hoop.

Hard to believe we're still saying this and Lebron is in his 8th season. He seems to be in the mold of Dominique Wilkins when it comes to his offensive game (except he actually passes :oldlol: ). Nique really had no low post game either and relied mainly on his athleticism.
