Anyone Notice the Width of LeBron's Headband was Abnormally thick last night?

I don't know if it was just me, and because the headband was white, but I don't remember LeBron, or any other player for that matter, wearing a headband that thick. It looked almost twice the width of a normal headband.

I mean I just noticed this season that LeBron's hairline has started receding (probably from all the stress in Miami and their subpar season thus far), but does he plan to keep expanding his headbands to keep up with the rate at which his hairline is receding, or what? I noticed he kept wearing the normal size headband higher and higher, but it got to the point it wouldn't stay on if he tried to wear it any higher.

Not dogging on LeBron, but come on man.. If you're going bald, then be proud to be going bald. Also, I don't like the fact that he's having his barber, edging him up. It doesn't look right when people with receding hairlines get edge ups.

With LeBron's kind of star power, I wouldn't be surprised if he sways David Stern to allow players to wear dew rags/wave caps during games. That of course when headbands can no longer fulfill LeBron's needs. What do you all think?

Go turn on Sportscenter for 15-20 minutes, they'll show a replay of the game highlights so you can see for yourself. I saw it this morning and was trippin, I've never seen a headband that big. Maybe it's my new HD flat I picked up last Black Friday, but even if scaled down, it's still a big ass headband.

Had to have been custom made for LeBron. Never seen 1 that thick before.

Blacks are not ideal candidates for hair transplants. The tightly curled hair has the tendency to grow into the scalp which can cause in-grown hairs and scaring when the hair is not cut properly and the scalp is not properly cleaned after cutting. I can't imagine what would happen after a transplant. It sounds like it would be really painful.

bro you know nothing about the condition, Stress may cause you to lose your hair at a faster rate IF and only IF you have Male Pattern Baldness in your genes. IF you don't you can smoke, eat whatever you want, stress as much as you like and still have a full head of hair. Maybe a few grays will pop up but stress sure as hell is not the cause of MPB. It is genetics. Sure external factors can contribute to the acceleration of the condition, but they can also prevent it with drugs like DHT inhibitors.

Also that magazine cover was shopped, this has been known and talked about for years on ISH therefore i'm not really surprised you only just noticed his hairline.

Kobe's hairline has been receding for a few years now, too. To his credit he doesn't try to hide it, though. Kobe's is weird too, because the entire hairline is receding at once - he doesn't have it higher up on the sides/temples like Lebron and most balding guys have.
