Well it's true, they have almost the same skillset, both can shoot 3s and midrange, both can penetrate, both are athletic freaks, both are good playmakers. But Lebron is much stronger = pippen on steroids

As for why they aren't winning, it's obvious. The Heat destroy bad teams, but suck against good teams. They're not winning this year. They're proving that 3 stars doesn't = a title. All championship teams need good roleplayers.

Miami in the 2 games, seems scared of us. People wanna say Lebron can go off,but lebron always dissappears against Boston in important games. He has a mental hump with us, and we have some of the strongest personalities on our team.

Miami will either be a dynasty or a failure. they have no in between i think.

LOL @ this thread... They are beating the worst teams in the league, and suddenly you think their the favorite to win it all...? That is absolutely laughable.

They have no big men at all, and that will show against the good teams. Teams will destroy them in the playoffs due to lack of rebounding from the bigs.

Bosh is softer than charmin toilet paper, and I can't wait to see him get bullied from guys like Dwight Howard, KG, Shaq, etc.

Not to mention their bench is downright embarrassing... If Eddie house is Your 6th man then you are in some serious trouble. That guy is a joke.

Why do people keep bringing up the Magic like the Heat didn't thoroughly kick their ass already? The series is 1-1 so acting as though the Magic have the Heat's number is bit silly.

The Heat lose to teams with an overall high basketball IQ. I personally believe it is due to less than impressive coaching from Erik Spoelstra but you can make an argument it is due to lack of team cohesion. What ever the case, until they get it right they will have trouble with Boston and Los Angeles.

I think Miami needs a year together, but after that look out.

The Lakers and Celtics are both old and are not going to be around forever either.

They may be able to hold off Miami this year, but after that ...

Dampier makes Miami look so much better too ... Riley needs to make sure the team always has a rough n' tumble big upfront (doesn't need to score) and Miami is golden.

Mental Hump because he hasnt beat us when it matters. he had two 60 win teams when he faced us and he couldnt beat us. He shut down this past playoffs against us. in the 2 games against Boston this season he seems to have a will broken at a certain point. all players have it. Other than being athletic I don't see much in common between Pippen and Lebron's play. I think Lebron lives off his athletic gifts while Pippen was much more of a skilled player on both ends of the floor. Lebron isn't much of a midrange type of player. If he's not taking a deep two (or three) he's usually going to straight to the rim without much thought for any other kind of shot. You rarely see him pull-up for a jumper from 15-18 feet. That's why he's getting so many charge calls on him this year. Players are anticipating him driving all the way to the rim like he usually does and are beating him to the spot.

It's posts like this that make it so obvious that this kid has never seen any of the 90s Bulls players play. Horace Grant would eat Bosh for breakfast, Bosh on steroids would still have 1/2 of the physical presence and toughness that Grant had. Bill Cartwright would run circles around Z and lol @ Arroyo being mentioned in the same air as one of the better clutch 3 point shooters in league history.

I didn't even both going towards that Wade/Jordan, Lebron/Pippen comparisons because even the acknowledgment of those comparisons are a huge insult to Pippen and Jordan. Basically this post is just a tweeny overreaction post, nothing to get riled up about.

But yah, there upcoming games against Utah, Dallas, and LA are going to be the real test of whether they've gotten over their hump. They are just beating on the little kids at this point.

LOL. Almost beating doesnt mean ish. We were 2 posessions from beating Lakers game 7,they beat us.end of story. I guess for some fans moral losses are good, but fact is you got beat.

-1st game you guys played like crap,we didnt play much better. 2nd game Doc did not play our starters like he would a play off game. Miami was never in control and a healthy starting 5 is better defensively and shoots better than MIA starting 5.

-Lebron has a mental hump with us.Watch him play against us and if hes not having a great shooting night he will play scared. I do think MIA is intimidated by us outside of Haslem. Allen and Pierce are no slouches defensively and KG is the reason both wade and bron arent getting to the basket as well.

-MIA will win be a 4th seed I believe. No one in the east wants to face Boston. we have the best team in the EAST. only teams im scared to face are LA,SA,and Utah because Derron Williams gets his against rondo.

Ha, The Heat are complete garbage. The only way they make the Finals is if the refs hand them games like they did in the 05-06 Finals.

or like how the refs handed the lakers a ring in game 7 against boston?

That was nowhere near as blatant as the 05-06 Finals. That series was rigged.

Maybe, unless they meet the Pacers in the playoffs. :D

Miami arent beating Orlando in a 7 game series, end of story. I know you fools like to underestimate Orlando, you've been doing it for 2 years, but the Miami Shit arent getting past Orlando or Boston.

Heat need some kind of inside presence if they expect to win it all. Big Z shoots 16 foot jumpers and doesn't rebound. Same with Bosh.

Miami wins three out of the five match ups on the floor against Orlando. You're basically counting on Nelson and Howard outplaying LeBron & Wade four out of seven times. I just don't see it.

I didn't know that the playoffs was a 2v2 game. The Magic are better than the Heat 1-10.

However, currently I don't think the Magic can beat them. They need to ship VC out for a go to guy or change their offense to stop jacking up so many 3s.

WTF with all these "beat us"..."we played"..."we have"...are you a nba player or owner? people look retard talking like that.

Without all these "us" and "we" there is no NBA. There are no lakers or yankee's or cowboys.. Micheal jordan would just be some joe schmoe working in a warehouse or someshit.

"we" and "us" put money in those teams pockets. So WE got the right to call it OUR team.

No, it's a game of strengths vs. strengths and weaknesses vs. weaknesses.

Those saying Miami are not serious contenders consider this:
1) Miami is missing its 4th and 5th best players in Haslem and Miller now
2) Miami lost 4/8 games by 5 points or less and really were in every game in the last 2 min except for Indy and Dallas
3) Miami has the 4th best ORtg and 2nd best DRtg in the NBA - only team with top5 in both
4) Miami has 2/3 best players in the NBA
5) Miami will insert Miller as a starter when he comes back so Arroyo as PG wont be an issue anymore since backcourt will be Wade/Lebron/Miller

Only teams that I can see beating Miami in a 7 game series barring injuries are LA and then Boston assuming they are at full strength.

Celtics rape Miami, they've already proven that. I don't even need to go into that. Could you imagine Miami's bigs trying to hold Dwight Howard down?? Come on. Not to mention they could just clog the paint to make Lebron and Wade pretty much useless. Remember that guy, Dwight Howard? He does an okay job at protecting the paint. Jameer Nelson literally had a career high in assists against the heat. :wtf: The Heat made Jameer ****ing Nelson look like a point guard. As for the bulls, Rose would go nuts against Miami, they have no one to protect the rim and no one to stop him in the perimeter. Noah, Boozer and Gibson would be putting back a million offensive rebounds a game.

Yes, because Lebron James is sooo mentally tough. And Chris Bosh is a real enforcer down low.

Im laughing at all the moral losses fans give their teams. I understand that 5 points or less losses means there were mistakes...well if its game 3 and the team is still making those mistakes,it doesnt matter, they cant execute as well because that team is preventing them from doing it. I was annoyed with Boston fans that wanted to say if we had perkins game 7 we would have won...LA beat us flatout. They didnt tire as much as we did.

I dont even hate the heat like others. With Mike Miller that gives them a guy who can shoot, and create decently but he can be held in check and hes just as streaky.

sorry to burst your bubble, but this 2 teams are not beating miami in a series. But if it makes you sleep at night, hold on to it.

They've finally learned how to play with eachother, Dwade and Lebron both ended their slump. Lebron paid his dues to cleveland and again is in MVP form. Miami interior defense and rebounding dramatically improved. This team reminds me of the Bulls.

Wade: Mini-Jordan
Lebron: Pippen on steroids
Bosh: Horace Grant
Big Z: Bill cartwright
Carlos: John Paxson

if anything haslem is closer to horace grant

Its going to be like this all year long. They have a winning streak "Riley is a genius, this is the best team ever blah blah blah". If they go on a losing streak "LeBron made the wrong decision, Wade and him can't play together blah, blah, blah". If this team stays together, in my mind there is no doubt they will eventually win. I just do not see it happening this year. As long as Celtics stay healthy with what they got, they are going to eat the Heat up. I'm anxious to see how they play against the Lakers come xmas.

2. nobody cares about the Bulls

You still holding faith in the regular season heroes?

Dont let that last game fool you, Heat hold all the ******* in check (Vince, Rashard), really doubt Bass and Redick can have above average games again:lol

Not to mention Wade had one of his rare weak games against the Magic.

Sounds like you are trying to convince yourself this is true rather than convince me. I know Orlando can and will beat Miami if they meet in the playoffs, I'm not sweating team Diva at all. The only teams that worry me are Boston and LA.
