I don't think it was a foul. Bosh and LeBron went straight up and Hinrich ran into them so there was contact, but they weren't initiating it, whereas when Wade drove, Blatche shoved him.

Alright, well this is my conclusion; if you watched Hinrich and the wall he fell, it certainly looks like a foul. But if you watch LeBron and Bosh, it doesn't look like a foul. Thats exactly the reason. It would be unwatchable with all the replays going on every time if the ammount was increased. Minor changes could be implemented but the premise of not instant replying everthing stands correct.

In this particular case, Lebron did foul, but did a good job with his right arm up there making the distraction. Refs were just fooled.

Yes it was a foul. But sorry, in the NBA you can't completely fall apart as a team, then barrel into the lane with some terrible shot and expect the refs to bail you out unless you are a super star (and even then I've seen them swallow the whistle).

I didn't think it was a foul at first until I saw Lebron's elbow hit him. They were probably mainly looking at Bosh to make sure he went straight up and down with both hands. Honestly, it's hard to be 100% on that stuff, they generally swallow the whistle on the final play of the game. See Pierce's push off vs. the Knicks or Manu's travel? They should have given it to Young more down the stretch imo, the guy couldn't miss and was playing clutch.

Has anybody ever seen the refs use the replay for the last play of the game to look for a foul/traveling/etc? Only time I can think of is when Brad Miller buried a jumper with 0.3 on the clock against the Nuggz last year, and the refs decided after watching replays that it didn't count. I think NFL does a great job of using replays and cricket is now utilizing it well, time for the NBA to stop ignoring this technology so much.

my only problem with it being a non call is the heat scored 23 points in the 4th quarter 9 of those came from the field the remaining 14 came from the free throw line.

in the final 4 minutes of the game the heat scored 11 points on 13 attempts (2 in the final 7 seconds) from the free throw line the wizards shot 8, that's 21 (the game had a total of 54) free throws in the last 4 minutes so clearly the refs were calling fouls in crunch time

washington did have their chances to win and didn't seal the deal, just sad to see a well fought game settled on something so inconsistent
