OJ Mayo Shoes

[O.J A 6'4Mamba]

Not many benefits for playing for the Memphis Grizzlies, but one thing that I notice is how OJ Mayo has the best looking player editions out of all the Nike players outside of the mainstream shoes like the Jordan's, Kobe's, LeBron's, and Durant's. Grizzlies have a great color way, and Mayo even has a creative logo. As of right now you won't find Air OJ's in your local foot locker, hopefully that changes in the future, but they can be bought.

Rookie season he signed a 4 year deal multi-million dollar deal with Nike, when he was under LMR marketing, which is LeBron James's company.

On most occasions though high profiled young players will sign with a different company other than Nike initially, because other companies typically will offer more for the first shoe contract.

Some examples of this

Wall- signed with Reebok, because it was a bigger deal
Jennings- signed with Under Armour because it was a bigger contract
Rose- signed with Addias because it was a bigger contract
