Growth plates usually fuse around age 24-25 yrs.old.

Between age 21-24 my best friend grew from like 6' to 6'2.5". I remember because for most of college I was taller than him (I'm 6'1") and then after college he was taller than me all of a sudden. :oldlol: Not saying this is typical, but it can happen. He's always drank a lot of milk - maybe that helps.
