But I hear a lot of rumors from people that he is actually 7'0".

Duncan was 6'11" without shoes at the pre-draft camp and KD never struck me as being as tall as Tim on the court. But you're right, I saw an interview with KD during training camp where he said he was 6'9 1/2" without and 6'11" with shoes.
