If Raja would have waited another second to flop it might have looked like Manu's off arm hit him:lol

that could have been nasty. the way his foot sort of got stuck on the ground he could have torn his ligaments. the kick isn't on purpose.

Raja did an ordinary flop while Gino just couldnt help himself to join in. If you looked at that live, Raja's flop would have looked way more natural than Gino's.

To be fair to Ginoblli, he fell down because his right foot went on top of Raja's left foot and slipped causing him to fall.

They both fell because of that. Raja throwing his arms up and Ginobili slide and kick weren't really necessary though. :oldlol:

lol I would LOVE to see sinjacky come in here with another classic explanation of why it wasn't manu's fault:oldlol:

If you look closely, you will see raja bell's shoe lace become untangled as he flops, causing manu to slip and lose balance, thus forcing his leg to swing wildly in the air..

Do not fool yourselves, the ability to jump in the air and flail your legs in pain without any contact is insignificant compared with the power of the force.

The Lakers will put an end to this San Antonio uprising and show them the true nature of the force.

the matchup between these two was actually pretty 'intense'. You'd think stuff like this hints at fake-ness, non-competitiveness, and stuff like that, but they guarded each other pretty tightly and it made for good basketball. Bell was getting close to being on tilt (nothing new, even against other players). Both players got right up. Shit happens. I think it's funny more than saddening. The game is still physical enough, but surely flops/acting/over exaggeration is going to happen in sports like this.... flopping is not something Manu Ginobili created... go back and watch Vlade, watch some Robert Horry, etc.

Foul on Raja was called. I couldn't believe it personally.

Should have been a no-call or a double technical in my opinion.

If I was a ref and saw that, I'd throw them both out of the game immediately.

I would have called a charge on Manu b/c of the way he lowered his shoulder.

Yep, that's what they called. The ref even stood there staring for a few seconds after blowing the whistle, then put his hands on his hips to indicate "block."

They said during the broadcast that they ended up calling a double foul on both of them. I thought that was an appropriate call.
