It all boils down to personal preference really. One my buddies always used to joke around at the gym in saying that if she can bench more then you, then flee the scene cause women these days already have enough power as it is lol. I obviously don't agree with his stance on the subject but it always used to make me laugh so I figured I'd share...

There really is no right or wrong answer here as its all based upon subjective opinion. It all depends what you deem fit as attractive. I for one, prefer a muscle'less female, and although I don't find them all that sexually attractive, I can appreciate the body of a woman who is sculpted & cut.

You have to realize she doesn't look like this on a daily basis. Her forearms and veins are bulging just for the photo shoot. It's common to pump up a bit right before.

Yeah, she's pumped up and probably dehydrated, so she probably looks a bit less extreme when she's not in the middle of a workout or prepped for a photo shoot.

The big problem with girls who are in ridiculous shape - either in terms of being muscular or just extremely fit and toned - is that they spend so much time on their bodies that it's going to be hard for them to be happy with someone who isn't at least close to them in terms of fitness (and dudes are the same). Like, say a girl is at the gym 6 days a week and eats a really healthy diet - is she really going to be content to be with someone who's in reasonable shape but only works out once or twice a week and drinks beer on the weekends? It takes a lot of dedication to look the way some people do and they usually want someone who's just as dedicated. I'm hardly the pinnacle of fitness, but I hit the gym or run every day and eat reasonably well most days, so I get almost offended if a girl who's got a sloppy body approaches me. Like, I'd almost prefer someone who's closer to me in terms of relative body fat and stuff to someone who's got a perfect or extreme in one way or the other body.

I'm not sure where I stand on this one. Some of those veiny arms are pretty crazy. But if she was the coolest person ever and she was funny and all that good stuff, I really don't know. . .

I used to work with a lifeguard who rowed crew for Michigan. She was really cute but all my coworkers always made fun of how broad her shoulders were. I never really thought it was an issue. Again, I'm sure there's a line. I just don't know where it's at. Burrito brought up a good point. If she's obsessed with a bodybuilding lifestyle, I'm not sure I could get down with that. But like I said, if she was a great personality fit for me and she was otherwise hot (a cute face) I think I'd have a healthy tolerance.

Any muscular is too muscular to me. Obviously everything tight and in good shape is massive plus but abs + biceps and shit like that I'll pass on. Maybe it's because I'm nowhere near muscular but I'd find it weird if a chicks arms were beefy and she's sporting a 6 pack.

This is about the ideal look, just with more meat. But that tone is as much as ideal to me. Can't make out any muscle, but in shape. This is done by using very light weight in weight room with a lot of reps. I am talking like 5 lbs dumbbells.

If I can legitly make out a bicep, deltoids, quads, calf muscles, abs then it is too much muscle that simple ex. even this is too much for me.

I dunno what I think about a girl who is muscular because I dated a girl who started bulking up in the gym while we were dating. She just happened to have those kind of genetics to put on mass, and it didnt bother me. She wasn't a bodybuilder by any means, but she was definately more muscular than your average girl.
But if I had met her after she already added the muscle, I have no idea if that relationship would have been the same. I don't go after muscular girls, but after dating a fit girl, I have no issues with it at all.

There is a fetish for everything.... or should I say everyone has some kind of odd fetish that isn't viewed as acceptable by social standards.
