Lebron has always been great in the regular season but a Failure in the playoffs.

Just look at his supporting cast in his previous season. Healthy Heat would beat the Celtics in the playoffs. The greatest player of all time won his first NBA title in 1991 when he had a good coach, and a solid supporting cast.

Paul Pierce and Tony Parker won an NBA NBA Finals MVP. I am sure LeBron would win an NBA Finals MVP before he turns 28.

Why not? He did all the scoring quickly, and spent most of the game playing passive trying to get other teammates going. Offense was no issue. The only reason Orlando came back was them sinking shots and Dwight's/Orlando's infinite offensive rebounds.

I have always considered Lebron James "assists" ala Stephon Marbury-esque or Steve Francis-esque. I mean at their peaks they were what 9 assists type of guys but you would never say that those 9 assists are similar to a Kidd or a Nash having 9 assists.

Truly great play makers/passers look to create plays out of nothing. LeBron, not so much. He's either going to drive into the lane or throw it out for a cop-out assist.

LeBron almost always passes the ball if he knows it will lead to an assist.

I rarely ever see him make the "hockey assist".

As great as LeBron's passing ability is said to be and how unselfish he is said to be based on his assist numbers, he tends to only pass if he will get that assist. LeBron pretty much refuses to pass just for the sake of ball movement and moving the defense, which is not a good thing at all when teams are packing in the lane. The good thing is that I have been seeing vast improvements in that area for the past couple of games.

shooting more threes....especially at only 35%...is not a good thing. durant misses more shots than lebron per game and it hurts his team.

both lebron and durant take way too many threes. they should cut them in half and they would be much better and more efficient players.

the hate for lebron is worse than any player i have ever seen in any sport. now we are questioning his assists and claiming he wasn't that good tonight.

it was the best game i've seen all year from start to finish and his team got the win.

seriously people.....its pathetic now.

if you can't just applaud that performance then why do you even watch basketball?

Congrats to lebron, he is a great one.. He was clutch too...

Actually Kobe has done it 3 times...And if you make the category 50/7/7 4 times.

If you make the category 50/5/5

it is 5 times.

If you make the category 40/5/5/ he has done that 31 times.

someone do the legwork and do a Lebron/Wade/Kobe comparison...

So first LeBron is criticized for being a ballhog and not assisting players.
Then he's criticized for dishing assists.
Then he's criticized for dishing assists when his teammates are open.
Then he's criticized for driving, dishing assists, and making his teammates open.
LeBron is also criticized for making free throws when they count.
LeBron is criticized for shooting the ball too much.
LeBron is criticized for not shooting the ball enough.
LeBron is criticized for his FG% being too high.
LeBron is criticized for playing too well.
LeBron is criticized for posting 35/9/7 in the playoffs. That's stat padding!
LeBron is criticized for posting 29/9/8 the next year. Terrible compared to the year before.
LeBron is criticized for not having any rings.
LeBron is criticized for trying to go get rings.
LeBron is criticized that his teammates aren't good enough.
LeBron is criticized that his teammates are too good.

The LeBron hate is confusing me. If he scores a lot he's being a ballhog. If he passes assits he's being selfish (statpadding). If he drives and kicks out (thus making teammates open) he's a coward.
He's a bad clutch player because he can't make freethrows, despite shooting 77% the past 3 years. He should take fewer 3s, even though his 3pt% has increased since last year and he IS taking fewer 3s.

The LeBron haters make more contradictions than Faux News.

So LeBron isn't clutch, is what you're saying. Well seeing as you're a Kobe dickrider, let's see where he stands.
Kobe shoots 31.3% with 24 seconds or less, with his team tied or down within 2 (http://espn.go.com/blog/TrueHoop/post/_/id/24200/the-truth-about-kobe-bryant-in-crunch-time).
How about the final 5 minutes, within a 5 point game? LeBron is ranked #1 in points scored while Kobe is a distant #2 (http://www.82games.com/0910/CSORT11.HTM). That's last year. However, that's not the most "eyepopping" stat. Check out their plus/minus stats. It's the same every year. Kobe & LeBron are very similar in points scored but LeBron is better when it comes to plus/minus.

Of course, you don't care about none of that do you? I have facts, you have highlight tribute videos. What can I do amirite. Please reply to this you troll, because I won't waste my time visiting this thread again to read your garbage.

Yeah and put Kobe in his place on that overrated Cavs team and they'd fold probably even faster.

how long have you watched the nba for? kobe threatened to leave the lakers a few years ago, was accused of rape, was a selfish ballhog and couldn't handle shaq's dominance in the early 2000s.

lots more valid reasons to hate kobe than lebron. and yet, people like me don't hate kobe. why? he's a superlative basketball player, much like lebron.

This is why, despite all the hate, Lebron James is probably the best and most complete basketball player currently playing in the league.

Don't forget Wade

Can't ignore Kobe, either. He's on the list, too.

ETA: Just realized Jordan shot 20/28 (.714) from the field in his 53/14/8 game.

Now back to LeBron.

great performance by Lebron. I'm also impressed by the way he did it. he didn't even force things or take a 100 shots.. that's why I like watching him play, because you never know when he's in that superhuman mode!

I hate Lebron more than I hate a good kick in the left nut.

But thats an impressive statline.

In saying that, put up that statline against the celtics in the playoffs and heat still lose. Needs more input from other players against a team unit like Boston.

that's why Heat have Wade, Bosh.
also have such great shooters as house, jones and miller, who also is a great playmaker and rebounder.
also haslem is returning to the playoffs.

Amazing performance by Lebron.

Truely is the best in the game and I don't think there is any doubt about it.

It was a great performance by Lebron. :applause: It also came in a very timely manner, because I had almost forgotten how well he can play in the regular season.

Why are there so few posters like you on this forum. 90% are stupid trolls with gimmicks. The weird thing is that 99% of the forums ban gimmicks but here they don't.

Sadly there aren't enough true basketball fans on here. Perfect example was a troll questioning me as a laker fan because I backed up wade and Miami's win streak against top teams. It's a joke. It's like saying you can never be objective and need some kind of agenda

Exactly. And notice how with the rep system an obvious Kobe troll like that Kobe8 idiot can have 2 green bars even though he's an obvious moron but other posters get red simply because the Bryant trolls load it up.

Not that I care since I know the rating system here is bogus, but it's funny how many people act like green bars are the end all/be all. I'll make a post and get like 4 negs from people saying the SAME thing, which means that some miscreant has created like 4 accounts just to neg. Add that up with how Laker fans/Kobe fans dominate the board and you can see how it happens. Guys like Waldus, Hulk, etc. only get red bars because they're just SO annoying and persistent that people make a special effort to neg them.

99.9% of the negs I get are from Laker/Kobe fans saying stuff like "Die kobe hater" "Kobe f*cked your mom", etc.

great game.. didn't expect this.. to LeBron and the heat..

I hope Kobe matches this somehow.. like a 45/5/5 game.. and ISH would lag again like that time Kobe and LeBron had unbelievable games in NY back to back..

BTW, I'm surprised haters hasn't brought up Bron's 14-17Fts.. I know they're still researching to make it look like it's inflated :oldlol:

As if you deserve any green bars. You're an obsessive, irrational hater with extreme insecurity issues who could probably benefit from therapy.

Seek help.

before yes before yeaaaaaaars ago, today? no thats very hard for kobe today, especially with 70% fg and almost a triple double on top of that, most of kobes high scoring games came by fieldgoal attempt chucking, shotjacking and not by high efficiency
