I don't think he was trying too hard, but that CEO wasn't too bad. You could tell he was used to getting his shot off against taller defenders.

Uh Jordan just sat there and shot 3s all day. Technically Jordan won because Rogers drove it 3 times for layups while Jordan hit 2 outside 3s. I do that all the time too when I'm tired and don't want to try against my nephew.

The one hand doozie Jordan does is so patent, noone in the league even attempts to pull that off the way he did. I don't know if they can't or if it's they don't wanna disrespect him by stealing his game. But god knows if Kobe's hands weren't midget sized he'd def be trying to do it.

not fair to hate on kobe for not winning in 08. he didn't have enough help.

Yeah I agree. Overall Jordan made more shots than that dude.
Wait the game doesn't start till 0:40? Ok.
If it's to 3, then Jordan did win, in 1 on 1, 3 pointers are 2, 2s are 1s. Jordan won technically. I honestly think that MJ isn't really trying. He's going easy on that dude. Jordan didn't attempt to attack the rim, and just shot 3s. And on defense he wasn't even trying, no way is he gonna play lock down defense on his customer. If MJ really was trying, he would've blocked the shit outta him on D, and post him up all day long.

Yea he didn't shoot too well against them in the series (around 41%) but considering the amount of the offense he had to carry with Bynum and Ariza out and Pau not used to that stage it was kind of understandable. Add in the fact that the Celtics were very well coached defensively and even at times cheap, and I think his FG% was about what any perimeter player would encounter going against that team. Plus he didn't have the luxury of an Artest guarding Pierce. He had to check him with Ariza out. But you are right, Vladdy just got abused by Garnett all series it was like putting Jamison on him

This sh*t gets brought up a couple of times every year.
Jordan was invited to host that camp. He got paid shitloads for it.
They all want to see Jordan. And Jordan did show them how good he was.
Then at the end they had the one on one and Jordan went soft on that guy. Look at the defense he played...all he did was try to keep his body in front of the CEO without using his arms and not blocking anything he tried. On offense he just shot soft jumpers from out.
You really expect the CEO to beat Jordan? C'mon now.
When you play a game of basketball with your little daughter in the future (assuming that you are smart enough to reproduce), how are u going to play her? Much like how Jordan did to this guy?

Kobe would loose from position of 3-1 in a weakened relaxed NBA era.
MJ will never loose from position of 3-1 even in the much tougher & physical NBA era

Kobe > Jordan
Kobe broke up the championship dynasty.
Kobe drove the most dominant center of kobe's NBA era out of the team after riding him for 1st 3 rings.
Kobe raped a girl.
Kobe threatened Lakers to leave LA in 2007.
MJ forced the bulls dynasty together. Pip wanna leave cuz of money. krause phils bad relationship.
MJ is the reason why bulls have 6 rings in the toughest decade in NBA era. fought krause, fought Pips stupid behaviors & made him buddy. all that.
Yes. MJ is an arrogant jerk no doubt. But when it counted the most.
MJ's never threatened to leave CHI. ever. even after loosing to pistons 3 yrs in a row.
MJ's Love for Chicago, the city, the fans is beyond comprehension.
Heck, MJ even admires NYC fans for being most knowledgeable about the game.
MJ fought for Phil when Krause Phil all time low relationship.
MJ >>> Kobe can ever be. & dont forget. Immitation is a best for of Flattery.

Why is Kobe punished for this "2 Finals MVPs in 7 trips" nonsense? Not even Jordan is winning Finals MVP over Shaq during that 3-peat with the numbers Shaq was putting up. Kobe was putting up his best numbers during the WCF in those years against teams who were often times better than the team that came out of the East.

wrong. jerry and finley both claimed they could beat jordan one on one when they were in college. i believe for stackhouse, jordan came to the college and apparently busted his ass in a game of one on one after stackhouse made those claims.
and for finley im pretty sure jordan lit him up in their first matchup for about 35 points.

And I don't get why you guys are mentioning Kobe in this thread, and more Kobe-Jordan Flame wars.
What does this thread have to do with Kobe? Yeah, MJ lost in a game of 1 on 1 when he wasn't even trying. So what? And even if he really lost, who cares? Everyone loses every once in a while.
