As of the Heat game today, KG is 177 assists shy of 5,000 for his career.

When he gets the 177 assists, he will be THE ONLY PLAYER in history to have:

20,000 points
10,000 rebounds
5,000 assists
1,500 steals
1,500 blocks

Let's keep track of it here and I'll start a thread in the main forum if he gets close.

Needs: 1 more

Interesting. So is it safe to call him one of the most versatile big men to come into the league?

As of the Heat game today, KG is 77 assists shy of 5,000 for his career.

20,000 points
10,000 rebounds
5,000 assists

There are 29 games left in the regular season, so he needs 2.655 ast/g to get there this year. That's just slightly above his season average and totally possible.

Let's keep track of it here and I'll start a thread in the main forum if he gets close.

He currently has 4823 assists.

To go from 4823 to 5000 assists, he will need 177 assists and average of over 6 per game.

Sorry to be the smart azz lol...but yea...I will keep track of it daily....Go KG!

Seriously...

Anyway, he needs 120 now. I'm hoping he can get it down to 100 by the end of the regular season. That's just under 3 per game for the next 7. He'll get to 5k next season.

One more left. Looks like he'll get it against Denver on March 17th 2012 aka tomorrow, aka St. Patrick's Day

A crazy new stat for a Celtic on St. Patrick's Day :oldlol:

And he'll be doing it with those sick jerseys.

Too bad it's not at home. I think he would have a standing ovation.
