There was a video during the Thunder-Laker game and it showed Perkins "smiling" for the camera. Couldn't help but laugh. The guy looks depressed as hell. He'll come around, though. Oklahoma City knows their shit and they've got a great team.

I think he was picturing himself signing with OKC AFTER a championship run with the Celtics that would have been followed by a summer spent weighing fat contract offers from playoff contending teams looking to add a 2x Champion center to their roster.

As it is, he ended up a trade chip because he didn't want to sign with Boston and will not now win another title in Boston. He also had to leave his wife and baby girl behind to drag his injured ass down to Oklahoma.

If I were a celtics fan I would also be mad. They ****ed themselves for the title this year with their trade deadline moves IMO. Shaq, JO, and big baby. Those are your centers. Celtics fans seem to forget what a big hole him going down created in the team last finals (and that was with a much better defender in wallace backing him up). With shaq and JO in the paint? THey made themselves much more beatable, especially against a team with good guard penetration.
