I want the boys to continue to be shunned by the media and come out with an absolute vengeance in the postseason

This is an opinion, but there are many opinions to be made. The players which can win this award is numerous don't you know. There are players who have the inner will to compete for this award. I definitely think Nowitzki is one of the players with the will to compete.

He's a great shooter. He's not a good passer. He's not a good rebounder. He's not a good defender.

why should he be MVP??????

His numbers are down across the board except for fg%, and all are below his career averages. He ain't winning it this year.

Dirk is having an average season by his standards. The biggest difference in the Mavs play has been Tyson Chandler.

His passing ability is incredible, do you just not like him because he's better than Garnett?

He is a great passer, this is something which cannot be questioned. The passing of a Garnett cannot be questioned as well. They are greats in this league. One might be better, this is up for debate.

This is a good point. The games which have more significance better represent what Nowitzki brings to the game. A game against the Hawks is more important than a game against the kings.

He is getting back to form so expect him to get to 24-25 ppg by the end of the season, and a rpg increase.

With Parker being out I see Mavs getting the first seed.. if not, they will stay 2nd. I honestly don't think Lakers will pass them. That's good enough to get the MVP imo.

maybe if he learns how to play defense and/or rebound.

Sorry, but if I want a pure scorer... I'd rather they be taking up a wing slot instead of gobbling up a bigs spot that has far more responsibility.

He's already learned to play D and his rebounding will go up come playoff time. Not a good passer? Wow, nice way to disqualify yourself from any discussion, even haters can't refute that Dirk's great at that.
