He plays nothing like Tyreke Evans and not a whole lot like Monta Ellis. His slashing ability is overrated due to him playing against smaller high school players.

His game relies on his nasty ball handling skills and pull up jumper. He's a decent, but not great slaher like Tyreke/Ellis are and he's still far from playing the PG position. At this point he's a skinny, undersized two guard.

I'm really high on his potential, but don't get carried away.

Doc Rivers wasnt a superstar but he was a very solid PG in the Andre Miller role with better defense.

Austin Rivers is quick but its not rondo/rose/west brook quick. Id say hes above average NBA athletiscm to make plays. Hes not a shooter like Stephen Curry who can go lights out from 3.

I hope he stays in College at least 2 years, where he can fill his frame in the weight room...maybe grow 6'4(6'3 now) and be able to distribute.
