They're 99 cents right now across the country i believe and thinking about getting some. I love McDonalds Filet o fish ever since i was little. I've tried BK's, Wendy's supposed 'real cod fish', and they don't hold a candle to the filet o fishies from McDonalds.
Heres the nutritional stats, but can someone put them into health freak terms?

It says this food contains trans fats. In health freak terms that translates to stay the **** away!

High in sodium, but it's not too bad, fast food isn't THAT unhealthy, if its in moderation.

you'd actually want to get one of those? My only interest in eating one of those would be because it's like a dare with how disgustingly unhealthy it is.

Why care about nutritional data when you eat at McD?
It's like caring about etiquette when you go with a whore.

Actually, looking at the above link, I'm a bit surprised by how not unhealthy (double-negative) it is. I was expecting much worse. Does that include that slab of cheese they throw on there?
oh the horror

The only thing I will really fu*k with at McDonalds is the sausage mcmuffin with egg under the breakfast menu. Everything else just kills me on that menu...
I pretty much try to just stay away from all fast food at this point, but I do get the urge here and there to have junk food.

I'm really glad McDonald's doesn't serve breakfast all day, because I would probably be a fat slob. Their McMuffins and Egg Biscuits are out-of-control good.

Bad analogy. It's more like caring whether she has STDs.
Anyway, I've always wondered how they make the Fillet O Fish and how much of it is really fish.

Stuff like that (including shit like Mock Crab salad, and fish sticks) are often made out of Alaskan Pollock

It's pretty bad. Fish is not supposed to be that unhealthy. The amount of calories is not terrible, but having 29% of it from fat makes it a bad choice for a "better than a burger" sandwich. It's probably also salted more than normal food considering how high it's sodium content is. Those two are the only problems. Otherwise, it does give you some of the necessary nutrients like calcium (helps bones) and iron (helps your blood system).
If they used alternative methods to deep frying it like baking it with bread crumbs along with a light dash of salt, it'd be a lot better choice to eat. Using a moderate amount of tartar sauce that isn't cheap and fatty would help too. When I used to get them, I hated how they put so much on it.

McDonald's FF is garbage. When Canada use to have burgers of the day, I would never buy the Filet on it's day (I think it was Friday, they want to try to get all the high traffic drunk people to buy it and clear out their stock, but it's just a terrible trick).

The quote is E2 in NLD, but that's still almost three times as much.
