OK...so we see a whole bunch of Centers of course and 3 pt specialist like Reggie and Ray etc. Interested to see what type of shots these players took.
Position and shot selection is important as well.

In the case of Parish u can see he was favored by having McHale and Bird next to him: both great and in the case of Bird, godly creators-passers.

Barkley again even taking too much 3`s at Top of the List

**If you took threes away. Barkley would rank right next to Shaq and Jabbar

Barkley is a Top 10 Player Ever....Always!!!

rick barry shot 44% fg's for his career

reggie miller shot 47% fg's for his career

Jerry West shot 47% fg's for his career

Ray Allen shot 45% fg's for his career

Kobe Bryant is shooting 45% fg's for his career ( should reach 46% in a year )

these are 5 of the greatest shooting players in nba history

what makes percentages drop sometimes is when a player attempts allot of threes. so while even just making 35% of them.... your getting more points than shomeone whos shooting 50%

if you make 35 threes out of 100... thats 105 points

if you make 50 two point shots out of 100... thats 100 points

and btw charles barkley ring chased and still never won jack sCHit cuz he sucks BIshhhh

:lol ....True story...1992 I was at a basketball camp....I asked Don Nelson about Barkley going to PHX...

He said Barkley is going to have a great first year..then destroy team chemistry with his mouth and baditude...then he said something I never forget....

"Barkley is a great player who can fill the stat sheet...but he is'nt a winner"

Nelly called that ish 100%.....He even talked about drafting a prospect (Spree) and saying he was going to be an allstar caliber player even though he was'nt that well known.

rick barry shot 45% fg's, 33% 3pt, 90% ft for his nba career

reggie miller shot 47% fg's, 40% 3pt, 89% ft for his career

Jerry West shot 47% fg's, 81% ft and if 3pt line exist he would shot over 40% 3pt for his career

Ray Allen shot 45% fg's, 40% 3pt, 89% ft for his career

Kobe Bryant is shooting 45% fg's, 34% 3pt, 84% ft for his career which is overall worse than all of them players above and had to take MANNNNYYY more shots just to average his points............ and in the playoffs he was even worse

FIXED

these are 5 of the greatest shooting players in nba history

kobe bryant? one of the greatest shooting players in nba history?
kobe? bryant? k-o-b-e??? haaaaahhh!!! hhhhhaaahahahah!!!! hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

only the greatest shotjacker maybe

what makes percentages drop sometimes is when a player attempts allot of threes. so while even just making 35% of them.... your getting more points than shomeone whos shooting 50%

if you make 35 threes out of 100... thats 105 points

if you make 50 two point shots out of 100... thats 100 points

and therefore the 50 of 100 guy compared to the 35 of 100 guy saved 15 missed stupid FG attempts, thats 15 possessions he didnt waste.... thats 15 possessions where he instead made the right play and created for someone else instead.... and therefore impacted the outcome of the game MUCH more..............

and btw charles barkley ring chased and still never won jack sCHit cuz he sucks BIshhhh

here we go again.... stupid kobrick ******ger thinking this is XBOX where u can get a championship going 1 on 5......... despite seeing SHAQ handing 3 rings to kobe on a silverplate where kobe was just a sidekick.... and then his teammates handing 2 rings to him bailing out his 6 of 24 shotjacking performances..........

championship is the biggest TEAM accomplishment there is
nobody in NBA history ever won a championship not having the required level of teammates around you.........

you can be the the GODS gift to basketball and average a 50 point quadruple double if you want and still never get a ring.... because this is a TEAM GAME!!

BARKLEY HAD HELP......... BUT HE DID NEVER HAVE THE REQUIRED LEVEL AMOUNT OF HELP TO DOMINATE THE GREATEST TEAM IN NBA HISTORY WITH THE GREATEST PLAYER IN NBA HISTORY (CHICAGO FREAKIN BULLS AND MICHAEL JORDAN!!!)

but do u know maybe where lebron stands or how do u calculate this thing anyways?

Field goals made X eFG% X 2 minus Field goals missed

LeBron is around -194

he and durant will be the only wings from this era to end up in the positive, assuming lebron doesn't decline

durant is at -223 but taking out his rookie year he's at like +200, which will eventually scale down as his career progresses.

Kobe, Iverson, Carter, McGrady = Inefficient Scorers = Miss More Than Score at High% :confusedshrug:

Jabbar, Wilt, Shaq and Barkley THE GOAT OFFENSIVE PLAYERS (McHale right up there but he played with a stacked team with Bird and DJ creating-passing).

Barkley had an efficiency in the 2-Point Region that can only be compared to those 3 averaging more than 21 and 23 PPG.

Other players who haven't shot 15,000 shots in their career yet, but you may be of interest where they would rank if I used the same formula on them right now.

LeBron James would be at -157.5 which is the elite category. Kevin Durant would be at -227.5 which would be in the elite category. Carmelo Anthony would be at -708.5 which would be in the good shot makers category.

Dwyane Wade would be at -164 which is in the elite category.

Nice.

Magic Johnson and Doctor Julius Erving are not on the list falling just short of the needed amount of 15,000. They contributed greatly to the game.

It would be interesting to see a list of minimum 10,000 attempts and another list of minimum 5,000 attempts (or 7500).

More Proof indicating that Sir Charles is a Top 10 Player Ever :applause:

Is Barkley better than Moses? Similar type of players and Moses won 3 MVPs and a title and took a bad team to the finals in 1981. Most don't have Moses in the top 10.

If you're on a list of "all time scorers" you're a shot jacker.

Moses was a better Rebounder and foul maker but nothing else much

Barkley was a a better Offensive player with very high Total FG%, 2-Point FG% (in the level of Shaq 58.13% 21.6 PPG), Creator, Passer, Versatile Player: could go point A to B in seconds to Dish or Finish himself. Superior Off Double TeaminG, Higher B-Ball IQ, Superior Floor Defender and Stealer etc.

Moses was great but he couldn`t Dominate in All Around Areas like what Bird, Magic and Charles had. They where multiskilled and played multiposition-like

Different Era...Different Pace but Yeah, There Was No Need For a PG To Shot Jack If You Have So Many Offensive Weopons That Can Make Shots At a Higher % & Frequency.

OK...so we see a whole bunch of Centers of course and 3 pt specialist like Reggie and Ray etc. Interested to see what type of shots these players took.
Position and shot selection is important as well.

so you're dismishing them because they took good shots and your god doesn't?

Getting open is a skill.

The further you are inside the 3-point line the the tighter your defenders become. Defenders are standing next to you and more defensive contact is allowed (especially back then in the 60s, 70s, 80s and early 90s). Adrian Dantley was 6`5 ft and he was able to score inside as SF, same with Bernard King at 6`7 ft. Chuck was able to do it at 6`4 5/8 ft at the PF position better than any other PF. You should be willing to take higher percentage shots, now if you can do it, then thats your skill. If you cant, then its not. Not many have that skill.

as biased as i may seem... you're infinitely worse

:lol

your obsession for barkley is unhealthy to say the least

he's a lazy fatass that didnt play defense or co exist well with team mates. he burnt bridges everywhere and ran off stars. he couldnt win with other legends ( moses/dr j ) or other HOF'rs like kevin johnson, tom chambers and dan majerle... nore legends like hakeem, drexler and pippen

he has no knowledge for the game of basketball and picked one of the worst teams in the all time tnt draft. selecting allen iverson #1 overall and showing how much of a dumbass he truly is

he has no friends left after the only one that could stand him got sick of his shit talking and dropped him like a fat sack of shit that he is ( michael jordan after his comments on how he runs his business - which made him the first billion dollar athlete btw )

even barkley himself doesnt believe in charles barkley. ranking tim duncan as the goat power forward and putting kobe bryant top 5-10 all time ( creating a list that didnt even include himself )

he's a failure in life and only rich because people laugh at him. not with him

if only you could become the same type of laughable success. but you dont even have that much going for you sadly

now end your never ending agenda that nobody cares about because this forum doesnt give 2 shits about charles barkley

 :facepalm

I just named other players that could also score taking higher percentage shots (not just 7 footers) while scoring efficiently per shot taken not just Barkley  Players should look for higher% shots instead of force shooting difficult shots to show boat and look better. What with the Barkley negative rap or lack off qualities have to do with the thread? Nothing at all!...you just bring them up cause you cant accept which players are shot jackers and who aren`t its quite simple :confusedshrug:
