An interesting development to be sure. Such an overt threat could either be a sign of weakness on the part of Stern and the owners or a sign of abject arrogance. If he really does know where the bodies are buried, then the players really should know as well, he shouldn't have to say it. Who is this message meant for and to what end? There's really no positive for Stern to say this in such a venue, so it begs the question why he did so. If he really know's things that can damage the players, it's not necessarily good for himself and the owners to have held on to any sort of damaging information like that. Best case scenario is that Stern is talking about something much more benign such as perhaps shady tax loopholes used by players or something along those lines and he just used an extremely poor choice of words.
