Does he have a website or accept PayPal? Just wondering, because it'd be pretty pointless to bring up such an arbitrary fact that is completely useless to everybody else here just to scoff at how $110 is overpriced.

$110? My friend is paying people $70 to take it off his hands. He even wrote, directed, produced, developed, and starred in a Season 6 of his own. It's in the bonus features.

Season 1. Only season i didn't really like was Season 2.
Idk, Season 1 was good, but the first 5 episodes were just a bit dull, although it did finish strong. Season 2 I think gets underrated because it didn't focus on the streets as much, plus Frank Sobotka was on of my favorite characters in the series & Ziggy always made me lol.

Season 1 is my favorite because Wallace and DeAngelo are my favorite characters in the show ever.

And yes i liked Frank Sebotka as well, but i just didn't find Season 2 to be terribly interesting.

I'll post on this topic Thursday. I knno more about this show than everyone else here even though there's some respectable diehards here
BTW, Season 2 was an outstanding season and far from the worst.
There will never be a more dynamic run of tv shows like The Sopranos & The Wire in such a short period of time, ever. They were like MJ & Pippen.

Season 4 has always been my favorite, probably because it hits so close to home, what with inner-city education being the main theme.
Each season was masterful, though. It is like picking your favorite Radiohead song. :D

You have to go back in real time to understand why Season 2 was frowned upon by many people. After everyone got hooked on the show after the debut season, viewers had to wait an entire year for the next season and people were expecting them to carry the same street theme as they did before. So when they started showing dockworkers in that first episode, people were like "WTF is this?" and didn't really giving it a chance because they were so fixated on the street angle.

Exactly, season 2 was extremely good. I didn't like it as much on my first run through, but my the second it was right up in the mix.
Hard choices but...

Just finished re-watching season 3, such an amazing season. Shows you how much the war on drugs has failed. I need to re-watch season 1, haven't seen that season in a LONG time.

1 > 4 > 3 > 2 > 5
For me it's season three. The Stringer-Barksdale storyline and their relationship with the police was the best storyline of the series if you ask me.
Season 1 and 4 are right up there, season 2 is a slight notch lower and 5 is clearly the worst.

Season 3 because of Stringer-Barksdale and HAMSTERDAM. The whole Hamsterdam angle was great.
I'd probably go 3>1>4>5>2. I didn't think season 5 was that bad. Season 2 I didn't really like until the last few episodes when it became clear to the cops that it was the Greek that was the real target.

Storylines that sucked: Newspaper garbage, kids being in school and Prezbluski garbage, mayor race garbage.
Everything else was great. So, the seasons that didn't have that stuff in it were the best. 1, 2, and 3?

The best season is 3. Here is how I would rank them.

Just finished last episode like an hour ago. Need to let it cool off a bit, but probably my favorite show
I'd rank the seasons
3
4
2 (hated it in the beginning but it's really good when I look back)
1
5
First 4 are really close and 5 is a notch below imo...

Those are pretty much my thoughts. Although I think season 1 and 2 are equal and both "a slight notch lower" than season 4.

Yes. It did start a little too slow for me, but once I really got to know the characters I loved it.
So many great moments and characters when I look back...

Season 1 can't be the best, right?
I only watched 1 so far, and while I liked it, I haven't continued watching months (after the first episode of S2)...
How can this show be the GOAT show everyone says it is?! Still not totally selled on it.
To me Breaking Bad is like the definition of TV greatness. And while the acting n' everything was great in The Wire, I just can't get on board with it as much as I did with BrBa.. And I have no problem with shows that take their time with the buildup.. Not sure this show can ever live up to the expectations you get from it and from what you hear about it.

Season 1 isn't close to the best. Its easily season 3 or 4. You should definitely keep watching.
I binge-watched the Wire and then Breaking Bad back-to-back. I liked Breaking Bad better at the time, but just recently I rewatched seasons 3-5 of the Wire again, and its hard to decide. I feel like Breaking Bad was better to watch if you're watching either for the first time, but the Wire is a show that I can watch on repeat more often. I've rewatched Breaking Bad scenes here and there, but I couldn't really imagine going back and rewatching whole seasons like I did the Wire. Not saying that means one is better then the other as a result. They might be too different to really compare. Breaking Bad's greatness comes from its suspense and shock value. The Wire has some of that but not to the same extent and relies more on character development, the variety of different topics it covers, and its little subtleties that sometimes you don't notice until you watch it a 2nd time. Both easily are my 2 favorites shows ever though.
