Kobe =A PATHETIC 40% shooter in career Finals. Bailed out more by his teammates than any star in history.

And then you have this..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1eiPYYSSdyw

and then you have his coach admitting how ridiculously immature he was and was overrated defensively, and was in no way shape or form good enough to lead a team before he was 30:

http://www.bareknucks.com/bashing-kobe-excerpts-from-%E2%80%9Cthe-last-season-a-team-in-search-of-its-soul%E2%80%9D-by-phil-jackson

and then you have what a pathetic sidekick he was before age 30:

Playoff PER on title runs

1996 Bulls
Jordan---------26.7
Pippen---------19.4

1998 Bulls
Jordan---------28.1
Pippen---------19.5

2000 Lakers
Shaq-----------30.5
Kobe------------19.3

2001 Lakers
Shaq------------29.7
Kobe------------25.0

2002 Lakers
Shaq------------28.3
Kobe-------------20.5

2006 Heat
Wade------------27.4
Shaq-------------19.8

and i can go on and on and on showing how overrated his is.. but people are learning and noticing. In 10 years he will be seen for what he really is... you'll see ;-)

It was a great performance, I remember being stunned by that. Of course it didn't take long until he dropped 81 on the Raptors.

And Heat007, you can't stop trolling, can't you?

It's so hard to give credit for a great performance.

Stupid internet agenda's, pulling all kinds of advanced stats out of your asses to make a point. Shut up and watch basketball.

But, but his PER isn't as good as D-Whistle.

Another great post. Oh, and BTW, how many rings does Wade have?

Hmm, let's see since 2003.

Championships: 1
Finals appearances: 1
MVPs: 0
Scoring titles: 1
All-NBA First Teams: 2

Kobe
Championships: 2
Finals appearances: 4
MVPs: 1
Scoring titles: 2
All-NBA First Teams: 5

But yeah, absolutely Wade has the edge because he has a higher PER in the Finals.

Valid argument.

And it is a FAR greater disparity of you include Kobe's ENTIRE career. In fact, unless Wade suddenly plays out of his mind, and somehow leads the Heat to multiple titles as THE man...

I doubt Wade will finish in anyone's Top-20 all-time, much less a top-10 list.

Heat007 and PurpleFck say hi.

But I'm disturbed by this. What if Lebron, Wade and Bosh win 3 titles together. Lebron wins all three Finals MVPs, yet Wade's performances were fantastic and a big reason why they won.

Yet I feel that this would elevate Wade into the top 10 on a lot of people's lists (could switch it up with Wade winning the MVPs and Lebron being the 2nd best), while a large amount of people feel Kobe is barely top 15.

Why doesn't Kobe get credit for the first three titles. IF Lebron and Wade win three titles, they'd deserve to get the same treatment.

Because, Kobe was a 2nd or 1st All-NBA teamer in all three championship seasons.

Well, you may have a point, but I wouldn't start losing any sleep over it until the Heat get to two titles. Hell, they may not even win one.

Mehh, could care less.

People on this forum really don't know basketball. They're entire evaluation of players depends on advanced statistics instead of watching the game itself. I couldn't take the opinion of 98% of the guys here seriously.

There's only a small group of posters here with whom you can have a legitimate basketball discussion.
