I had them for so long but one time I went up for a dunk during a game and landed on my heel and the air bubble popped. I definitely have no idea, but what year was it? Could definitely narrow it down by checking what year it was and looking for a list of basketball models Nike threw out that year. Doubt it's a retro, so it shouldn't be that hard. :P

Yey, finally someone answered, haha!
I remember players having them on in the european basketball championship in 2003 in Sweden. I also remember having them in 8th and 9th grade and that was around year 2003-2004.

Do you have any idea where I can look for what model it may be?

I am a shoe whore I have 100+ pairs of sneakers BUT never had these because when I was young we could afford them, which is also the reason I buy all retro shoes that come out because now I can get them. I will continue to look...go to pickyourshoes.com that is where you might be able to break shoes down to see if they are them. yes they are Nike's though because that is all I wear and I ended up getting the Juwan Howards instead of those shoes you are looking for.

Sorry, but that's still not the same shoe.
Mine had leather on them, not plastic and they were a bit lower and there was no nike brand on the back side over air bubble. Not the same shoe.

the Pure profile max was my favorite basketball shoe of all time and I own 4 pairs, only one left on ice.
They're like a superior version of the 2nd penny hardaways crossed with the early garnetts, as far as support, weight, and comfort go. GREAT shoe.
