[QUOTE]By Carl Bialik

It took buzzer-beating three-point shots for the Memphis Grizzlies to extend Game Four of their Western Conference semifinal series against the Oklahoma City Thunder to a first overtime, and then a second on Monday night. But the Thunder sealed the game, and leveled the series, with their characteristically excellent free-throw shooting, hitting all 11 of their foul shots in the game

Lets go Grizz!! we gotta be more efficient rotating defensively and grabbing defensive rebounds. huge game tonight i hope they better in okc than they did in game 2! hopefully they give OJ a chance to perform. we tend to become too predictable by giving the ball to gasol and randolph every possession. if the grizz want to win 2 of the next 3 and move on to the mavs, OJ is the x factor. we wont win if Hollins doesnt give OJ a chance!

It is true that the team that passes this round will end up exhausted, and Dallas has shown a very solvent team. But it is also true that the Mavs have been very successful in the three-point shots against a bad Lakers perimeter defense. Against OKC and Memphis defense, Kidd, Peja, Terry and Marion do not think they can show the level they have shown.

Classic under-appreciation for what Dirk & Co. bring to the table. The Mavs are a deep, experienced team that is peaking just at the right time.

OKC is talented, but very young and have huge issues between their two biggest stars. Not a recipe for a "tough series".

Memphis just seems like the better team to me, despite this beatdown they're receiving right now.

See, I feel the exact opposite. After game one, though, I really thought OKC might be in trouble. However, since game one, the Thunder have been the better team, in my opinion. They won game two with relative ease. I know they let Memphis back in the game late, but they also had them down by 18 or 20 in the 4th quarter then put it on cruise control.

In game three the Thunder were also in control late but, Westbrook when into ball-hog mode, and the Thunder fell apart as he did so. Game four was pretty much a repeat of game three, but Westbrook wasn't quite as bad as in game four, and the Thunder won.

And after the slow start tonight, OKC has thoroughly dismantled Memphis. If Westbrook doesn't go into "chuck mode" it's very possible OKC would have won the series in five games.

I don't know, I just feel that since game one OKC has controlled most of the series.

Same here. I am excited. I could easily make that drive and catch a game or two in Dallas. I haven't checked on what their ticket prices/availability look like for the playoffs though.

Last night was an anomaly though. To win game 6 if we can, well definitely be the usual suspects doing work. Thing I love is the Thunder ran a new "play" getting Durant the ball that was much more efficient, especially against Battier who has been getting torched all season anyways. The Ibaka tech was super weak, we have 3 weak Ts this series and 2 last series. Dudes don't even get to cuss at refs and get techs meanwhile KG goes into f bomb tirades directed at the refs and the refs walk it off. Team should be focused for game 6. Perk came out and criticized them for overcelebrating and shooting too many 3s at the end.

Thunder had to get up 10 before they'd call a touch foul on the Thunder.

Where was a call like that when it was a tie game?:oldlol: I think the NBA knows that if they just let things go on both ends the game is going to end 55-50. So they have to do things to keep the games competitive and high scoring.

You can't tell me Conley would have gotten that call in a tie game with 2 seconds to go.
